I got 2 hours of professional assistance from Kanika. I was moving to a 2 bedroom apartment with mostly rental furniture in the short-term and desperately needed help with short-term and long-term furniture planning and color selection, plus sizes and colors of carpets. I had a prioritized list of problems and ideas by room. I never thought we could get to it all in 2 hours. The furniture placement was challenging due to having 2 computer desks. Where should I start.. The absolute amazing experience we had with Kanika design literally forced me to write a review after a very long time. When we moved to our new apartment and were looking for someone who could help us with interior design & furnish our apartment including home office. We first worked with Kanika 5 years ago to furnish our rental apartment. We loved working with her so much and decided to take her help again, when we purchased our new home. She helped us design our living room and bedrooms and gave color consultation for whole house interior. What we really like about Kanika is that she really listens to your preferences, provides great ideas and lets us make the final choice. We LOVED how everything turned out.

I'm so late writing this review! Kanika helped my husband and I decorate our apartment about a year ago. She came over for a few hours and showed me how I could use the stuff I already owned plus searched on the internet for things we could buy and add. She made a pinterest page with all the links so I could easily find them to purchase. Some of the things she picked I wasn't too sure about, but I went with it. I'm so glad I did because everything looked great! I loved the transformation she did in our living room. I highly recommend her.

My wife and I first contacted Kanika to help us renovate our kitchen. After patiently listening to our ideas, she supplied her own which of course turned out to be far better, while managing to stay within our budget. She did such an great job with the kitchen that we decided to have her remodel the living room. In two hours, Kanika helped us pick paint colors for our whole 3 bedroom, 2 bath house. We did a complete remodel and had to pick all the colors from walls, ceilings, trim, wood, windows & door, and exterior eaves. We worked together to pick two options for each room. She suggested swatching the colors first to make sure we liked them, but I was too lazy. Everything turned out great. :)

I hired Kanika for a 1/2 day session to help pick interior colors for a light remodel project on an old Craftsman style home. I know my limits and interior decorating is not my cup of tea... heck I'm color blind which made Kanika's job even more challenging! By the end of the day, Kanika created a color palette that my wife loved and she even gave us some furniture ideas for the kids.

It's great for someone who needs to get their bearings, but don't need full on project management.

She was able to give us a great framework for paint colors, furniture layout, furniture colors, and floor. With this, we could then go research on our own for things that we liked.

Heard about an interior design firm called Kanika Design from my manager so decided to give them a shot.

WIth overloaded work, I need a home office which was not originally designed along with the house. Being an amazing interior designer, Kanika was very patient and offered a lot professional and creative ideas that I haven't seen online after I did the research for months. Honestly I think it is easier to make a fancy design instead of a simple yet satisfying one.

Fair price is also another reason I love Kanika Design. My home office was definitely worthy.
