We are a husband and wife team combining creativity, expertise and access to a large network of rug suppliers. If we don't carry a product to suit your needs, we can either find it for you or assist you with creating your own custom design. We carry a large collection of original designs, and our products have been carefully curated for varying tastes and budgets.
Our carpet care experts use fresh water, air drying and biodegradable cleaning products to professionally clean your hand-woven or custom-made rugs. The skilled artisans at Princeton Rug Gallery are specially trained in rug restoration and repair. We offer binding, alterations, backings, repair of tears and more.
Princeton Rug Gallery's showroom offers handmade carpets from around the world, including antique and new rugs with beautiful, timeless designs. Our carpets are hand-woven and individually knotted from wool, silk and the finest materials. If we don't have what you're looking for, we can help you create your own "floor art" and guide you through designing your own carpet to capture your vision.
The carpets you get from Princeton Rug Gallery are more than just floor coverings. They're accents that we often call "floor art." Unlike art that hangs on a wall, our pieces accent your floor and see a lot of foot traffic. Unfortunately, accidents happen, things spill and rugs need to be cleaned from time to time.

This is such a wonderful store. We came for a day trip from NYC just to see their extensive collection of Persian carpets. Maryam, Jalil and Ali were so welcoming and helped us find two beautiful carpets. We will definitely be back and would not buy a carpet from anyone else!

I recently had a large dark green stain from a Christmas tree that toppled over on to our handmade Stark Carpet.
I enlisted The Princeton Rug gallery to help me find a way to remove this large stain. The owners could not have been more helpful.
After a a visits to my home, we decided we needed an”expert” to clean the damage. The Rug Gallery provided us with the perfect person. This gentleman was more of a magician than a carpet cleaner. He removed all of the stain, by hand, in two visits . His methods and formulas have been handed down through many generations of carpet experts in his family

Maryann and her husband were wonderful to work with and helped us pick out the perfect rug for our new home. They delivered the rug put the underpadding down and centered the rug placing the furniture perfectly. WOW, we were blown away at their service.
