Working with Lena was a real pleasure. I had just moved into the area and needed an apartment furnished. I did not have a lot of design experience so I wasn't sure what I was looking for exactly other than I wanted it to look nice! We just had beautiful new drapes installed in a freshly painted dining room. Lena Kroupnik helped us choose the fabric and paint color and she chose the hardware and designed the drapes. This is the third time that we have used Lena and I am thrilled with the result. She knows what we like and can make suggestions that are consistent with our tastes, but more beautiful than anything we could have imagined. If you want to have a beautiful, warm home then hire Elena Kroupnik. I worked with Lena several times, renovating a kitchen in Maryland and a condo in Florida. She's intelligent, creative, hardworking, polite, and easy to talk to. I also found it easy to understand the vision she had for my space--and it was so much better than anything I could have come up with myself. People give me compliments all the time when they see my homes. What she did was beautiful, and, even better, I love everything and I wouldn't do anything differently. We worked with Lena on several projects in our house, window treatments in several rooms, selection of custom made furniture, lighting. Lena has implacable taste and she is a good listener. She is also careful not to enforce any ideas on you but rather provides several options to choose from. We always discussed budget upfront and she made every effort to stay within it.
