Services
Inland Asphalt began business in 1934 with one asphalt plant in Spokane, Washington. As Spokane began to grow, so did Inland Asphalt. By the early 1960's, Inland had expanded their operations to nearby Coeur d'Alene and Kellogg, Idaho. Inland also purchased four portable asphalt plants that were operated in Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Oregon.
Inland Asphalt is a full service paving and grading company. We have skilled personnel and equipment to handle any size paving job - from highways to driveways. With the ability to do all phases of paving and grading, from major city arterials to parking lots, Inland Asphalt will get the job done for you.
Three separate projects with asphalt paving and road construction for the North Spokane Corridor. Inland Asphalt completes many large and small residential driveway projects yearly (up to 200 per year!). Check out our pictures for some examples. Inland placed 2k tons of specially designed asphalt mix that will serve as an interim moisture barrier protecting six underground tanks from surface water.
Inland Asphalt has the resources to take care of any size project. Starting with our experienced team of estimators, project managers and support staff, we have the knowledge and expertise to handle any job. Our team of operators, drivers and laborers, coupled with our large fleet of trucks and equipment, are second to none.

In November of 2021, I was passing an Inland Asphalt truck with a full load when THEIR unsecure load launched rock onto the top of my truck causing my sunroof to explode and shatter. After following the driver I was able to get his bosses name (Dan) and number. Dan was about the most unprofessional individual I have ever spoken with. I asked him how he would like to handle this situation and he informed me he was not handling anything as he deals with "people like me" about 20 times year. He finally informed me I could come to their office and pick up a form to fill out. I did so and sent it to

Closed 6 miles of highway 2, no left turns, no cross traffic. No signs, no warning, no detours, just traffic directors angrily waving me off to take an extra, unknown, back roads tour to find my way home.
I drive this route EVERY day, no notice of and any kind. Simply a sign on all the intersections saying no turns, with no way of knowing where to go without stopping in the middle of the construction zone and asking, super customer experience. Almost like if the govt ran a company.

I survived the poor signage on Argonne during the recent repaving but the mess at Ness Elementary is OUT OF CONTROL! In a residential neighborhood, heavy construction began this morning at 7am. All day they have been beeping as they put heavy equipment in reverse and SHAKING the neighborhood homes like an earthquake. After ruining our outdoor party with this noise and shaking my home when we tried to move inside, I was told that they'd finish up before 10pm -the legal limit to their work hours, apparently. ON A WEEKEND! And without notice to the neighborhood! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! Someone should

They recently completed the 2018 road preservation project on Mission Ave between McDonald and Evergreen. Road is fixed so they did the minimum required of them which earns them 1 star instead of 0. We were told that there would be constant communication and updates from the project coordinator regarding road closures. This DID NOT happen. Instead, when the day came to lay the asphalt, residents of nearby apartment complexes were unable to get out and those that had work were told 'sorry, you'll have to call out'. The coordinator in question seriously dropped the ball and screwed over many people
