We were very excited to use James for our project based on his initial visit to our house. He promised a design and proposal one week later and we have not heard from him (that was three months ago). The worst part was that his assistant Alex lied to us over and over again saying we would have the drawing any day, and James was almost finished. So, my initial impression of total professionalism sank to a total lack of integrity.

I had a large deck project and had 5 contractors bid the project. James and SelectDecks had, without a doubt, the most detailed and professional bid package. Even though they were on the more expensive end we felt most comfortable with them. Therefore, he was hired. He provided a detailed schedule and the only time we ran over on the schedule was when I had to change something. Which was finished in no time. We are extremely happy with his work and final product. If we have another project those guys will definetly be out first call.

The guys at SelectDecks created more than just a deck for us. They talk about outdoor living and now I know why. From walking us through the options, pros and cons of different materials, and even adding a retaining wall we hadn't thought about this was an all around great experience. We love our new porch! The whole process from the first meeting to final walk through was very professionally handled and pleasant. We had an idea of what we wanted but couldn't even begin to hit on the details until James came up with some ideas to really pull it all together. We really couldn't as for more, the workmanship was fantastic, the guys were nice/clean/mannerly, and our new porch is just perfect. I would highly recommend SelectDecks without one bit of hesitation. Fantastic job!

I work out of town so it was very important to me to find someone I could trust to build our deck. From the initial meeting with James I felt as though these guys were the right fit and I'm glad we made the decision to go with them.
