The South Carolina Asphalt Pavement Association (SCAPA) is a non-profit trade association representing the asphalt pavement producers in South Carolina, as well as the suppliers to the industry to include suppliers of aggregate, liquid asphalt and emulsions; suppliers of additives, truck bed release agents and biodegradable extraction solvents; asphalt milling and recycling companies; certified public accounting firms; engineering & testing firms; equipment dealers; insurance brokers; natural gas suppliers; surety bond agencies; traffic control & pavement marking suppliers; transport; and law firms providing legal services on behalf of the construction industry.

Services
The Perpetual Pavement concept was first articulated in 2000 and the concept has rapidly gained acceptance. This comprehensive publication captures the activities that have taken place over the last decade, synthesizes the information in way that is useful to providing guidance for Perpetual Pavement design and construction, and provides a vision for further research and development to refine Perpetual Pavements.
SCAPA provides a legal forum for its members to work together, to communicate with government and with the public. SCAPA promotes the industry and its products - from suppliers of raw materials to our finished product - to the benefit of everyone involved. Publishes an annual directory of contractor and associate members, certain government agencies and other important organizations.
