At Lake Norman Hardscapes, our full-service design/build process encompasses all aspects of your project from concept to construction. Our design services include: consultations, site reviews, topography, complete schematic drawings, design specifications, and proposals. Our construction services include: pre-construction meetings, project management, scheduling, on-site crew managers, landscape construction, and walk through.
Outdoor kitchens provide you with the ability to entertain and dine outside with ease. We can build an outdoor kitchen around your needs; which can include grills, outdoor appliances like refrigerators, and counter tops. We also can install bars and customized outdoor dining arrangements. To compliment your outdoor kitchen, we can outfit your yard with lighting to enhance your hardscape.
Our fire elements add instant coziness to your outdoor living spaces. We can install fire pits, fireplaces, and seating so that you can enjoy your hardscape year-round. Our fire elements are built with high quality bricks to withstand heat but provide natural beauty. There are many unique styles and designs for outdoor fireplaces and fire pits such as electric, gas, or traditional wood burning.
We can install multi-level patios, small or large patios, and customize your design. We use high-end bricks, stones, and pavers to provide a sophisticated but natural feeling. We (CORA’S Intergenerational Center) called Mike at 6:30 am in the midst of a crisis and he met me by 8:30 am and when I arrived he was already on the phone sourcing product! Another contractor failed to deliver and we were up against a deadline. Mike was responsive; extremely hardworking and committed to seeing the project through. He did not need numerous meetings or appointments. He made some recommendations and helped me think through options. It was clear he knows his craft and just got it done on time and within budget!

Lake Norman Hardscapes did an awesome job transforming our backyard from a steeply-graded headache into a multi-spaced area perfect for hosting large gatherings. Mike had a vision for our yard that made space useable while being cost-effective and not sacrificing aesthetics (“this looks like a resort” per one of our guests).
The original grading of our yard was a nightmare to maintain and unsafe for kids to play on. Mike designed a retaining wall that organically followed the property’s shape. On top of the retaining wall, he created a two-tier entertaining space using large paver slabs

Super happy with the work done by LKN Hardscapes. I got their name from one of my neighbors, who also used them and we were not disappointed. Michael understood what I was trying to accomplish and worked on the proposal to get it within my budget. Bottom line: it came out great and gave us an opportunity to expand our usable backyard space. Definitely recommend them.

Overall my experience with Lake Norman Hardscapes was good. Victor and Michael are great to work with and Victor was incredibly accommodating as we made adjustments on the fly. It's the last mile where they fell short. I made the cardinal sin of making the final payment before some punch list items were finished and now I seem to be stuck finishing those items myself. Overall happy with the finished product but disappointed in the follow through at the end.

Will the help of the guys at LKN Hardscapes we turn our back yard from a wasted space we never used into our favorite entertaining area. When the weather is nice we are always outside enjoying it. These guys get it. Mike helped us figure out what we wanted by created wonderful 3D drawings of what it would look like. Being able to see the finished product up front was huge. Peter made sure the project ran smooth.They are the ones to call if you want to upgrade your outdoor living space.
