We were having issues with our Wayne Dalton Torquemaster system and were advised by several shops to convert it to a standard torsion spring system.
We scheduled an appointment with Mike for Friday morning. He showed on-time and was as friendly, professional and knowledgable as everyone said. He performed the work within an hour and gave me a rundown of what he noticed while he was working (maintenance considerations, etc.).
Very honest and fair pricing to boot - we will definitely be using him for any future needs.

Got Mike's # from a friend who had used his services. Spring broke today, called Mike at 11:00, said he could be at my house by 1:00-1:30 same day and he would call when on his way. I thought WOW same day service within 2.5 hours. He called about 12:30 said it would be closer to 2:00. Called at 1:45 on his way, pulled into my driveway at 2:03. Evaluated the situation and quoted a completed price including tax. I said lets get'er done. Mike said it would take about an hour to complete the repair, and once again he was finished, got his tools, I paid him and he was on his way in about 1

Mike is very very friendly & extremely experienced (almost 40 yrs) with amazing knowledge. I as a female even learn some interesting things today 05/23/17. Mike just talks frankly / honestly about dented panels of my garage doors . He fixes dented panels at the spot for one door pretty well rather than trying to sell me NEW panels or GARAGE door. We have used Award Garage Door for several years and recently needed some work done on our garage door. Arrived on time, the appointment would have been same day except I spent half the morning calling all over town for competing quotes. After I couldn't find anything cheaper, we called him back & he arrived the next morning.
We are quite pleased with the product and the professionalism was amazing! Mr. Ward has an excellent work ethic. Well organized contractor! Coming from a family of contractors, I know what to look for he works neat, clean keeps his tools in order and doesn't make a mess.
When he was done he carried away the empty boxes, wires etc. We are very pleased with the product and experience

I called Mike this morning about a broken foot support. An hour after calling, the repair was done along with regular door maintenance. He even fixed problems from someone else's poor repairs at no extra charge! Mike was honest, fast, and took time to explain how to do the yearly maintenance for myself. I'd recommend Award Garage Door to anyone!
