Services
Allison grew up near Providence, Rhode Island. She graduated from F.I.T. in New York City. After a several year hiatus from design while rearing her two children, she and her husband Jerry decided to make the major move down to the Carolinas to be close to family. After extensive planning, Allison hired Gabriel Builders to construct a customized Nantucket inspired house on Lake Keowee.

Allison Smith Interiors starts with the defining concept of the" feel" that you want for your home and then she brings it to life with design, product and professionalism. We are a corporate family, and having moved nine times, we know the challenges of making a house a home, and turning rooms of space into areas of comfort and enjoyment.
The Hudsons fell in love with the property with its swath of six and a half acres, but after living there for several years, they began to notice how their home felt dark. Originally, they thought to start in the kitchen and add new counters, cabinets and paint a mantle that overlooks the space. But after going back and forth on style and design choices, they realized they needed help and hired principal designer Allison Smith.

I cannot say enough good things about Allison! She has been such a joy to work with and although I am not done using her help I wanted to take a minute and write a review for her. She has always been on time, very flexible, professional, super responsive, very efficient and has helped me in the exact way I needed help!
I absolutely love her design style and she has helped me decorate my house just the way I wanted and on a budget. She has kept me grounded through the process of renovating/decorating and I cannot thank her enough!
