Lewis Insulation
Lewis Insulation, Inc. is a full-service insulation company serving the Twin Cities Metro. We have been re-insulating existing homes and insulating new homes, additions and home remodels since 1974. A home that is well insulated is more energy efficient, comfortable, quiet and will save you money on utility bills for years to come.

By using less energy to heat and cool your home, you reduce the negative impacts on the environment caused by excessive energy use. Whether you want to lower your energy bills, remodel your current home or build a new custom home, Lewis Insulation shares your goals of creating a comfortable, healthy and energy efficient indoor environment.

The purpose of insulation is to keep your home warm in the winter and cool in the summer. We offer several common types of insulation; fiberglass (blown-in & batt form), blown-in cellulose, and closed cell spray foam. When correctly installed with air sealing, each type of insulation can deliver comfort and lower energy bills during the hottest and coldest times of the year.
Services
Lewis Insulation, has been serving the entire Twin Cities Metro area and improving insulation for homeowners for over 35+ years. We have built our reputation as being an honest, reliable and a high-quality, full-service insulation company. We have insulated attics, walls, garages, pole buildings and more.
Preventing air leaks into attics is essential for insulation to be effective. Attic bypass areas are a major source of heat loss into the attic. Some of the common bypasses are located around chimneys, ceiling light fixtures, electrical wires, plumbing, kitchen & bathroom fans, drop soffits, top plates, skylights, etc.
Lewis Insulation can provide ceiling & wall soundproofing to your new or existing home with blown cellulose or fiberglass batt insulation. With all of life's interruptions and daily noise, it's sometimes hard to find some peace and quiet. Whether it be cell phones, computers, TV's, teenagers loud music, etc., your home should be a place where you can relax and unwind and get away from it all.
A properly vented attic is very important. Inadequate venting in your attic causes all sorts of problems, from wood rot to mildew, peeling exterior paint, rusty nails/screws, roofing problems and even energy loss. The good news is that it can be easily prevented by simply venting your attic correctly.
While no one can guarantee that you will not have ice dam build up due to Minnesota's unpredictable winter weather, there are steps that can be taken to control the amount and severity of ice dams you may have. Ice dams are generally more prevalent on older homes. They are commonly seen as ice build up on roof eves and icicles.

They insulated out attic and crawl spaces. They were very thorough in explaining what they would do and why, they were on time, they were extremely careful not to leave a mess, and they called to make sure we were satisfied with the work. Highly recommend them!

I had an excellent experience working with Lewis insulation from start to finish! Great quote, on time, great quality work installing my attic insulation! Just a great, great overall experience. I'm very picky, and rarely write good reviews, but they exceeded every metric for quality, price, on time, and excellent quality work. Plus, they seem like great people. Highly recommend! Thanks. We recently moved to Eagan and during inspection, we were advised the townhouse is low on insulation (maybe 6 inches on average) and should blow more insulation in once closed. We were told that we could do it ourselves, but after youtubing it and realized that we're not handy enough to do so, we looked into getting it done by a pro. We also researched and found out that if done right, we may qualify for reimbursement from the gas company, MERC. I emailed 3 companies authorized by MERC, 2 responded quickly (including Lewis). Both were able to come out quickly to look at the townhouse on the following

I was looking forward to working with this company and it ended in disappointment. I hired Lewis Insulation to do our insulation, instead without telling us, they subbed it out to Spray Foam Insulation Systems, Inc. The only reason I found out was because the truck that came had a different name on it. The product used in our attic is different than the one listed on Lewis Insulation’s website and we were not told about that. Our experience with Spray Foam Insulation Systems was not a good experience and Lewis Insulation takes no responsibility for the work done by their subcontractors. The lack

Lewis Insulation just did a spray foam insulation job at our home which we are extremely satisfied with. Brian was great to work with and a straight shooter. His crew was very good, helpful, and very customer oriented. Their bid was reasonable and my wife and I are are very happy with how they did their work and the end result. I recommend them highly.

We used them to spray in insulation between walls for soundproofing. They were quick, good price and they cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely recommend them.
