The Pool Guyz LLC, was founded and is co-owned by brothers Matthew and Jaryd Weber. They have lived in West Orange, NJ their entire lives and have established themselves personally in many local communities with trust and integrity, and now in business. The Pool Guyz LLC is a full service, fully insured pool service company aimed to meet all your swimming pool needs.
THE POOL GUYZ take great pride in knowing that we offer first class service with our "Complete Maintenance Package". We will be there from start to finish, opening till closing, to ensure your pool season is enjoyable, safe and stress free. The "Complete Maintenance Package" runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day but can be accommodated to fit your needs.
We make our initial visit after all leaves/debris have fallen and landscapers have finished their Fall cleanup. We then return after your pool water defrosts from the cold. Good for preventing staining from leaves and debris which would otherwise be resting on the pool surface all winter. Prolongs life of your safety cover; prevents rips and tears due to fallen sticks and other debris.
Your pool filter pump/motor are the most frequently used and hardest working piece of equipment. Whether you have a one speed or energy efficient variable speed pump (VSP), The Pool Guyz can service all makes and models. Jaryd and his team are awesome. Pool always looks great, and as I am pool illiterate they help with great knowledgeable recommendations when my out-of-date system goes haywire. Whenever something comes up they respond quickly. We are so glad we switched to them!

I waited 3 years to write this review, because I feel you cannot judge a company in 2 . (ba dum chhh).
I had an awful experience with my previous Pool cleaners , right from installing a new pool heater to increasing cost every year. I dumped them for The Pool Guyz.
I was really lucky to have this guy named Andrew C "do" my pool every week. He is always on time and his work is exceptional. You wont find a single hair at the bottom of the pool, when he is done cleaning it. (I have long curly hair)
I still remember, one of the days, I had a party and the pumps weren't working. I

Wow - Customers Beware! I started calling, emailing and texting these guys in mid April. I even spoke to them twice on the phone so I could schedule my opening this year. I really wish someone would have at least given me a coursety text, call or even an email back to let me know you could not put me on the schedule this year. I called again today and someone texted me back finally to let me know im out of luck! They really left me stuck for the Holiday now. These guys are Very Very Unprofessional so be careful I don't want this to happen to anyone else out there. So I suggest you find another

I had a mechanical problem with my Pool Heater and called the Pool Guyz. They called me back in an hour and after we spoke he said he'd fit me into his schedule. He came really early on a Saturday morning and took care of what needed to be done. No B.S., and didn't try to sell me on something I didn't need. Good communication, solid work, fast and reasonably priced. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I had been using another pool company for close to 20 years. We always had problems all summer, every week something else was wrong.
I searched for a new pool co. Then The Pool Guyz were recommended by my neighbor. I started using them the beginning of last summer and everything is amazing. They always show up when they are supposed to, never overcharge, and the guys who are here each week are knowledgeable. I needed to buy a pool cleaner robot and they researched it for me and sent the link. The prices are very reasonable. The best people run the company and I would recommend them highly.

2019 was our first year with a pool. We were lucky to have The Pool Guyz for service. Aside from a fair price and always being available, they did some real hand holding. We had electrical issues we inherited from our homes previous owners which The Pool Guyz guided us through nicely. I would recommend them to anyone in the area.

But, what separates a decent pool company from an outstanding one is the level of their responsiveness. When the pool is in “crisis mode” and you need help right away, I’ve found the Pool Guyz to be remarkable in how quickly they will get to the house and solve the problem.

While I usually handle most issues with my pool there are issues I prefer a professional. While I have had my pool for 15 years 2years ago I switched to Pool guys for issues I am hesitant to handle myself. Both times their response was quick, polite, and appropriate with regards to handling the issue. I was impressed with their honesty and would recommend them to all.

Most pool service companies in our area are comparably priced. Service is what separates one company from the next. The Pool Guyz lack big time in that department as far as I'm concerned.. Every issue I brought to their attention required several follow up phone calls, memorializing memos and plenty of emails on my part elicit a response. We have used the Pool Guyz for the past four years and I am very happy with their service. Their prices are fair and they never try to sell us anything we don't need. Most importantly, they are responsive to any service issues we've had: replacing a pump, a pool service panel, and various parts and pieces. Provides excellent service. We wanted to keep our pool open a couple of weeks longer last summer... we couldn't find a company willing to service the pool in late August-early September during close-ups... enter The Pool Guyz. We were so impressed with their excellent service - really improved - of our pool they are our pool cleaners going forward.
