If you live in the forested rural areas of Northern Idaho, wildre is an annual possibility. We can provide valuable advice on reducing your exposure to wild re. Arborist Michael has 18 years experience in the re service: 7 years in a big city, and 11 years volunteering locally 9 years Asst. Chief. For many years, we were a vendor for the Bonre (Bonner County) and Boundary FireSafe programs.
Trees can get sick. Insects and disease (biotic causes), or weather stress, construction injuries, herbicides (abiotic causes), are but a few of the potential challenges to your tree's health. We can diagnose the problem and where possible, prescribe appropriate treatments. Trees can pose a risk to people, property, structures, power lines, even passing traffic and pedestrians.
Estimates are free. We'll visit the site and provide a written estimate. Since arboriculture is a highly specialized profession, in order to hire and retain the best employees, we have to provide adequate compensation and benefits (including medical insurance, paid holidays and sick leave). This is the #1 cost of doing business.

We worked with Michael on a couple of occasions. Aside from a regular pruning job, we worked with him to place a web cam on an eagle's nest in a tall cottonwood tree at the Kootenai National Wildlife Refuge ... not your usual tree service but it involved some tricky climbing and work up high to place the camera. All of which he handled with aplomb. Reliable, knowledgeable and can handle probably any kind of job.

I needed two large trees taken down and hauled away on our property. From promptly returning my inquiry, and providing a written estimate to getting the job done early with a professional and friendly crew these guys (and gal!) were total pros. They set my expectations early and exceeded them in every way. Would do again!
