About six months after the birth of our first child in 1997, I set out to childproof my home and did what most parents do - head to the local retail store to purchase child safety devices. To my surprise, the employees lacked expertise, the selection of products poor, and quality of the merchandise mediocre.

After spending several hours trying to install baby gates on our stairs we threw in the towel and came across Todd for baby proofing our house on Yelp. He came onsite and discussed different areas of concern. After a proposal he completed the work same day. He put gates at the top and bottom of our stairs. We used his gates but did buy banister kits from Buy Buy Baby to better match our stairs. Also installed cabinet and drawer locks on all kitchen and bathroom cabinets and drawers. Mid May I contacted Baby Safe Homes franchise located in Arizona to assist me in finding a baby/pet gate for my spiral staircase. I followed up with the local AZ franchise owner several times, but I could not get them to reach back to me. I finally contacted the franchise's parent company in order to get a response from the AZ rep.
