John responded quickly to my initial request and to every other text or call in a timely manner. He was professional and thorough. My refacing was time sensitive and John went above and beyond to get everything installed on time at no extra cost to me. The workers that came with him were all as friendly and respectful as he is. And the cabinets in both my kitchen and bathroom look fabulous. I can’t say enough about what a great experience this has been.

We hired Bay Area Refacing before the pandemic, largely based on photos here, and are so relieved we did. John and every single person on his team are master craftspeople, and just lovely, funny, awesome people in general. John is a terrific project manager with excellent judgment, and his aesthetic advice was so welcome, with great results. I never had to chase anyone down or turn into a micromanager to ensure things got done, as is the case with so many businesses these days.

I can't recommend John and his team highly enough. I got quotes from several different refacers, and though John didn't have the lowest estimate, it was very competitive I was impressed by his attention to detail, quality and knowledge of the refacing process. He's as picky as I am about getting things right, which is a good thing!

I’m so happy I found John! His work is amazing, and the end result is totally custom cabinets at a fraction of the cost of other options we looked at, but with even better quality. The best part about working with John is how straight-forward he is about pricing and what sort of things will impact cost. The work is also flawless! We got walnut cabinets, with real walnut wood. We are thrilled with our refaced cabinets and new drawers. Their work is of the highest quality. John really cares about providing good service and being sure the customer is happy. He was open to our ideas and offered a lot of good suggestions about new appliances, etc.
We would use them again and definitely recommend them to anyone looking to update, renew, refresh a kitchen.

John and his co-workers turned my ugly small kitchen into my favorite room! John refaced my old cabinets and added new fronts and drawers, installed quality quartz counters, new sink and faucet. Tile work was flawless. I had to add a stove hood vent through my ceiling and John's co-worker did a great job. John's price estimates were clear and he answered all my questions or texts right away. I highly recommend John Savala. He transformed our family room/office into a warm inviting space, by refacing older laminate-covered cabinetry. John is meticulous with details and finish work, he corrects existing problems/flaws he uncovers as the job progresses, he provides numerous options and suggestions to enhance project, he is responsive, and given the caliber of his work, he is quite reasonably priced. It is evident that John loves his work, and he is true craftsman.

Excellent service, reasonable price. John listened carefully to my objectives (minimalist style and modest budget), then offered useful approaches to consider. Plus he kept his appointments and phoned ahead if a delay was unavoidable. His email communications were complete and courteous. It's hard to find a professional like John Savala nowadays. He's honest, reliable, replies promptly to communications, and produces a quality product. My project was a cabinet refacing with a new countertop. It was completed exactly on schedule and the transformation was miraculous! I've rarely had a project go so smoothly. One advantage with John is that he has a keen eye for any issues that might come up and identifies them up front, before any commitments. John at Bay Area Refacing does an incredible job! Instead of replacing our kitchen cabinets, we decided to have them refaced. John is a very hard worker with incredible attention to detail. He surpassed any reservations I may have had with changing our cabinets from maple to white. John is also very fair with his pricing. He provided us with multiple options, something we really appreciated. We have a fairly small kitchen, so it took approximately 3 days to complete the job. We will definitely call John for future jobs. Highly recommend.

John redesigned and installed a very difficult cabinet in the middle of my kitchen - it's just perfect. It looks as if it has always been there and blends in completely with the rest of the cabinetry. I couldn't be happier. As I write, he's here again doing more projects. What a great craftsman, and what a nice person as well!
