The Village Improvement Association of Doylestown was founded in 1895 to support and enhance the quality of life in Central Bucks County. The VIA is perhaps best known for opening Doylestown Hospital in 1923. I have worked with Julia at Tile Gallerie through 5 projects between two homes.There is no one better in the area with selection, design advise and project completion. In the past, I've only done small jobs; one floor at a time or just a back splash. This time I needed help with an entire kitchen. First off, the people at the Tile Gallerie were friendly when we went to the shop. They had a fairly good selection of tile to look at, but seemed a bit apprehensive to show products (in books) that they didn't have in stock.

We just worked with the Tile Gallerie for the first time to redo our master bath. Julia offered excellent counsel for tile selection as well as peripheral materials. On her advice we used an underlayment product (Wedi Board) you will not find in big box stores. They also did our install and we are thoroughly pleased with the design, the product and the quality of the workmanship. The installers not only kept their scheduled install date but patiently worked around another contractor to ensure our job was done without delaying the schedule. If or when we do tile again, it will be with the Tile
