Clean Plumbing is a 29 year old company that was started by my father, James Swenson in 1980. He retired and moved to Colorado in 1990. For the last 19 years, Chris Swenson and James Bradford had been growing the company. We service all of Orange County, San Bernardino and Los Angeles. James and I have always said we are a lot better plumbers than secretaries.
No job is too small, here's a prime example: say your sink has a bad washer on the hot water. You could be wasting 20-40 gallons a day due to the constant flow. Now that's water money AND gas money for water heating down the drain, no pun intended. Think about a running toilet: does your toilet come on to refill the tank because of a leaking old flapper valve?

As part of a larger home remodeling project this customer called Clean Plumbing in order to have their Water Heater removed and then replaced so that their dry wall could be repaired in one area of their home. Instead of replacing the old unit a brand new more efficient water heater was installed that will give them many more years of service at a great cost and energy savings.
Restaurants use us for preventative drain cleaning/clearing especially cable rodding to prevent the build up of grease from cooking and washing. We have a complete assessment regimen where we review all fixtures: urinals, women's or men's restrooms, floor sinks, kitchen sinks, main sewer and give you a written assessment of the health of your plumbing, including recommendations, with every service call.

Chris helped my mom with an extremely difficult plumbing leak coming up through the kitchen tile floor. We are grateful that Chris was meticulous in diagnosing the problem, as someone else might have taken drastic measures such as digging up the floor to fix the problem.

Chris with Clean Plumbing is hands down the best out there! I live with 3 girls, and all the hair that goes down the drain in the shower finally clogged it up. Tried snaking it out my self but that didn't work, next I called Roto Rooters only find out their "free inspection" was just a chance for them to quote a ridiculous high price of $450 to clear drain so I kindly asked them to leave. Next I called Chris with Clean Plumbing and the very next morning he completed the job for a fraction of the price. His number is now saved in case of future needs and I highly recommend making

This is the 2nd time we’ve called Chris and 3 years later, my original review still holds true. He replaced our water heater 3 years ago and this time he replaced our bathroom faucet and drain. He was early to the appointment and didn’t brag about how he’s been the business for 50 years! Came and did the job and did it well. Chris Swenson really is the best plumber ever. Does just an excellent job, and is such a nice guy. Recently, I had a very bad leak coming from my property, and water was running out to the sidewalk. Instead of just jack hammering away at my patio, Chris really studied the situation and did some tests. By using his smarts, he was able to identify the location of the leak, and no damage to the patio was necessary.
I've used Chris on multiple projects. Every time he's done such a great job. This was the first outdoor project. And again, I'm still super happy.

I have used Chris at Clean plumbing 2 times now. Each time, he has responded quickly and made arrangements within a few days remedy my issues. He has replaced my water heater and replaced a garbage disposal at a rental. He texts back quickly, his prices are fair and He gets the job done quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again for any plumbing issues that arise in the future!

He worked on the gas line for my new stove, capped off pipes in the back of the house from an old sprinkler system we no longer used and installed my beautiful new faucet. I bought a complete SpringWell water filtration system to replace an aging one (different brand) and needed a plumber for a professional install. Called a few plumbers to get an estimate, including others with 5-star yelp ratings. Chris (Clean Plumbing) was the only one to come in-person. He arrived on time within the said hour and looked at what needed to be done. I also wanted to get by-pass valves (extra) installed. His quote was very reasonable so I went with him. I needed a plumber to come out and check my garden drains. Chris came out at a days notice and thoroughly diagnosed the issue (roots in the pipes). He made some sensible suggestions to have the tree removed and then repair or replace the pipe. Had a leak in the ceiling, called Clean Plumbing and made an appointment for the next day. Diagnosed as a leak in the wax seal of a toilet upstairs. He bought a new one and installed it on the same day (we need a new one, because the old one wasn't powerful enough). My wife says he was great. Can not recommend more.

I called Chris on a Wednesday evening and explained my plumbing problem. He rescheduled his Thursday morning to accommodate my time frame. He told me he would arrive between 8 and 8:30 am and texted me at 8:25 to let me know he had arrived.
I appreciated his professionalism, cleanliness, and attention to detail. He pointed out a potential problem and repaired that at my request. The replacement parts he used were established brand names.
All in all I am happy to say I have found my go to plumber. He not only is very professional he also is reasonable with his pricing.

I found Clean Plumbing through some very good reviews on Yelp. I asked Chris to come out to fix my dishwasher which was discharging water under my sink. He came out right away, and easily fixed the problem for a reasonable price. Chris is a very nice, friendly guy. Very knowledgeable, and was super easy to schedule with.

Needed a water heater quickly, mine was leaking. Had gotten several quotes, Clean was by far the most reasonable. Whole process from when Chris arrived to completion was only a couple hours. Very happy with the service and the job. I highly recommend Clean and would use them again for any other plumbing services I might need.

I had a plugged kitchen sink and called Clean Plumbing. When Chris arrived he immediately got to work. Chris was very nice and easy to talk. He cleared the plugged pipe and when he left, true to the company name, he left the work area clean and tidy. I plan on using Clean Plumbing for all my plumping needs.

Work in an older building in downtown HB, so there are always some kind of electrical or plumbing problem cropping up. Chris & Clean Plumbing have been used previously by the office manager for her house to great success, so we thought we would give them a call when our kitchen garbage disposal locked up after the company potluck this week.
Chris was here at the office right away, took the sink apart, showed us where someone had used a drain-cleaning liquid that damaged the disposal, and installed a new unit in less than 30 minutes.

My kitchen sink would not drain. I called Clean Plumbing and spoke with Chris. He was able to come to my house within the hour and immediately located and fixed the problem. I found Chris to be extremely friendly and efficient. It's good to have such a great plumber locally here in Huntington Beach. I highly recommend Chris and Clean Plumbing.

9:00am Accidentally flushed the car keys down the toilet, could not see them and unsuccessfully tried to retrieve them myself with a coat hanger
9:30 called Clean Plumbing, Chris answered and said he could come by later today, would have to pull off the toilet, may or may not be able to find the keys

Chris is a great guy. Very friendly and able to come quickly whenever I have plumbing issues. One of my fourplexes had no hot water. One of the water heaters crapped out and I was calling around for anyone to come by to do an estimate. Chris had great yelp reviews and came within 30 minutes!
