Strouds Building Supply & Steel Trusses

It would be helpfull if they didnt make such a big deal about accepting Credit Cards and only accepting checks... Just build the fees into the price FFS.

Mike was easy to deal with, the building was shipped and delivered the same week. We had plenty of extra stuff incase something got damaged.
The building materials are all of good quality. I am very happy with our 30x30 enclosed building.

Searched Mid-Atlantic area for a building supply company - wood and metal. Decided to go with steel trusses because they were better suited for my project. Stroud's Building Supply was great to work with. My order came quick and the driver was great. I was skeptical about these because I couldn't find many youtube videos of users. These are really nice trusses that make it so easy to put up. The purlin clips are really handy and save so much time. I put mine at 8' spacing because it is a little stronger. I also butted my lean to trusses up to the gable trusses and got a really nice roof line appearance. Great product and I'm very happy.

After a dismal fail to get a cheap metal RV port, I finally found Stroud's Building Supply. Every question and concern of mine was answered promptly and courteously by Josh Stroud. Josh recommended one of his local installers, Greg Martinez. From order of a custom truss size to installation was three weeks for my 18 x 40. Greg and his crew were fantastic. Mike and Josh were amazing to work with getting my roof kit over my basketball court. They went out of their way to deliver my kit to me and unloaded it by hand with no additional costs. From my experience it's rare to find good contractor and customer service now a days. I highly recommend them.

So if you order steel trusses from this place and it’s not in stock it is an up charge. It was more money for me to order a 10’ lean to than a stock 12’ lean. They claim it’s a custom order. So non stock items are not as advertised priced per linear foot. The man always says God bless...... interesting.

I purchased 20 foot steel trusses for a garage project in July 2020. Mike and his team were an absolute pleasure to do business with! Mike was readily available via phone or email to answer my many questions. The trusses were delivered on time and met all my expectations. My one word of caution to would-be buyers; a '20 foot' truss like mine has an actual clear span between inside face of posts of 19'1".
