About Us Report

Boushelle has been cleaning loose, oriental, and custom rugs since 1903. Our cleaning machinery is the backbone of the company -- it's how we got started in the the flooring business. We have the biggest and most modern cleaning plant in the Midwest. Our main machine is housed in a building that was specifically built around it because of the machine's size, which is 19 feet wide, 70 feet long, and three stories tall.

Normally, repairs take two weeks, though this time frame may increase if rugs are extremely damaged or special orders are placed. Deodorizing can help to cover up any pet odors, mold/mildew odors, or even just to add a fresh scent to your rug. Deodorizing is not guaranteed to remove any odors 100%, but it is recommended, especially for lingering pet odors.

Master Cleaning Service Report

Sometimes pet urine, mold/mildew, and/or musty odors can become trapped inside of the fibers and/or backing of the rug, interfering with the enjoyment of your rug. We offer 2 processes that can reduce or eliminate these odors that make it impossible to use the rug as intended.

Area Rug Cleaning Report

When rugs are being cleaned, they are first beaten to remove all dust and loose dirt and then sprayed with high pressure detergent to loosen and suspend soil and spots. They are then gently scrubbed with additional emulsifiers after which they go through a triple rinse system to rinse out all soil.

Area Rug Repairs Report

Over time, the fringes on Oriental rugs will start to fray and become worn out. If this problem is ignored, the edges may become seriously damaged. Replacing worn out fringes will give your rug a new refreshing look. Our experts cut off the existing fringe, surge the ends, and then, matching as close as possible, add gorgeous new fringe to make your rug look new again.
