Services
Most work we do for basement wall and foundation repair is brought on by the damaging effect of water saturated soil - especially soil with a high clay content - sitting in direct contact with the foundation and basement wall of a house. The bowing and deteriorating walls are demolished and replaced with concrete block, using outside pilasters built into the wall and filled with grout and steel reinforcing bar to add strength.

5+ STARS. I hired Don's Foundation Repair to seal my foundation, install new drain tile, reinforce 1 of the basement walls, and install a gravity drain down the slope of my property. I was HIGHLY impressed with how quickly the guys worked. Ryan and his crew had the whole job done in less than a week. They were very thorough, answering any questions that I had during the process.

Can’t say enough good about Ryan and his crew. My wife and I purchased a home with buckled walls in the basement in Crown Point. I was hopeful it could be fixed but my wife wasn’t so sure. After meeting with Ryan, he assured me that he could repair it with no problem. While it was a big job as they dug out almost the whole foundation and put supports in the basement, it looks amazing and the walls are straight again ! My contractor even commented that he was impressed with their work ! If you have serious foundation-basement issues, these are the guys to call !

Very poor communication skills. Called a bunch of times and keep getting blown off. I get things happen in life, but this is no way to do business. In the process of looking elsewhere.
Update: they destroyed our front deck to fix the foundation and didn't fix it. The great people at free flow said they would have fixed it if we went to them. I wouldn't recommend them for anything.

I have received estimates and had contact with Don's Foundation Repair before but wasn't moved to leave a review until today.
After all the heavy rains in the region in the past couple of weeks, I settled on making an inspection appointment with B&F Foundation out of Lansing because everyone at Don's was literally and figuratively swamped.
B&F was extremely rude throughout every point of service from the initial phone call to confirmation and the appointment. In fact, they called 5 minutes after the appointment time telling me that my client was not at the house, they are very busy and that

I searched reviews before getting our 130 year old home lifted. Don's Foundation Repair lived up to the reviews! They were very accommodating and extremely professional. I very highly highly recommend them. Prices are reasonable. They go above and beyond to work with the client. It's not easy trying to level an unlevel house, but they did it and added an addition in 2 1 /2 weeks! Thanks Ryan and crew!!

Ryan gave us a great quote.compared to other companies. He was much more informative and explained his plan of attack well. He was always patient and kind with all the unfortunate loops I threw at him with my project. I highly recommend this family business. Will always be my go to foundation repair.

I had an inspection done on a house I was interested in purchasing. Knowing this a gentleman named Ryan came out anyway knowing there was a good possibility that we would be backing out if the verdict came back bad. Well it wasn't great and the house didn't go through but Ryan did an excellent job quoted us reasonably and was very friendly and respectful. From that experience I'll be calling Don's for any foundation issues I may have. Was told they were the best by multiple people and was not disappointed

A few years after purchasing our house - a one story ranch in an older part of Valpo - my wife and I noticed that the floor in our kitchen and living room area appeared to be sinking into our crawl space. We contacted a number of contractors, engineers, and flooring people for quotes and recommendations. None of them seemed to know what to do to correct the problem, nor did they follow up with us like they promised they would once they did come up with a solution. On top of that, the potential prices they quoted us ranged from $10,000 - $30,000. Needless to say, we were incredibly concerned...until
