We offer testing, repair and maintenance of all backflow prevention devices by a certified technician. In order to be compliant with local utility water safety regulations it is vital to have a reliable maintenance and repair of all your backflow devices. We make it easy and affordable to do your part in protecting your water from backflow contaminants.
The majority of backflow assemblies include a check valve or valves, a set of springs, and occasionally a relief valve. Each of these mechanical internal components must be tested annually by a certified technician and maintained if necessary. During a backflow test, the assembly is pressurized and then each part is isolated to ensure it is operating at an acceptable level.
Fire sprinkler systems have been the most effective form of fire protection for decades. In order to ensure effectiveness, they must be inspected, tested and maintained routinely in accordance with NFPA 25 and your local requirements. Chances are your building has not just a fire sprinkler system, but a building fire alarm system as well.
Our trained technicians are experienced in all special hazard suppression systems, which include clean agent, foam, dry chemical and wet chemical suppression. Engineered fire suppression systems protect your mission critical assets from fire by discharging an extinguishing agent instead of potentially destructive sprinkler water.
The fire dept only tests the fire hydrants inside the public easement (typically 6-12ft from public roads). All other hydrants on the property are the responsibility of the property owner. In the case of a failure of the hydrant not operating correctly, the owner is liable for this failure. Fire hydrants are just as important as a fire sprinkler system.

American legion Post 40 had to upgrade their kitchen fire suppression system to conform to new codes and standards. Life & Property was selected to take on this project. Their quote was fair and the work was done professionally and on time. We at the Legion were very happy with the way the project turned out and would recommend Life and Property highly.
