Actually, the smell of Pinon is everywhere, it just lingers in the air.
Shawn, a California import and New Mexican lover, relocated to Santa Fe, in 1984, after a brief visit and slight coaxing from his then wife. He has since settled in ABQ. At the time, there were not many options for professional chimney sweeps. He was also a proficient landscaper, so Shawn's was born.
Shawn concentrates on sales and installation, repairs of stoves, fireplaces and chimney cleaning now. Shawn's Chimney Sweeps sells Osburn wood stoves, fireplace inserts, and the Osburn pellet stove. We are also the authorized dealer for American Hearth gas fireplaces and the Majestic line of gas direct vent inserts.

Called and setup an appointment that I missed by mistake, then Shawn got it scheduled again luckily.
When they made it out here, they were fast, did a good job of cleaning everything out, so much that I can lay my bare hand on it and not come back with much anything on it, and they were friendly/polite.
I'd use their services again.

Shawn's Chimney Sweep installed my wood burning stove about two years ago. They were cheaper than the other options, and I soon found out why.
1. They very nearly installed my stove 18" farther out into the room than necessary. My stove has a feature that allows for a rear-facing pipe or a top-facing one. They did not realize this, and the day of the install, told me my hearth was too close to the wall and would need to be moved out into the room. I had to physically intervene and flip the stovepipe exit on the stove myself to show them putting my wood stove in the damn middle of my living room

Purchased a used pellet stove at a great price. They delivered it to our home & helped with set up. They are very professional polite and knowledgeable.
I was going to get rid if my old stove because I thought something major was wrong & they pointed out it was a minor issue. This saved me more than I paid for the one I bought from them. EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE!!!!! They follow up with everything and make sure you're 100% satisfied
