Birkhead installed my Trane energy-efficient HVAC system in 2003. It has worked great with only very minor issues for 18 years now. But, bad news, heat exchanger failed. Apparently heat exchangers are the heart of a furnace and cost well over $1000, part alone. Good news: Trane 20-year warranty meant the exchanger was free to me and I would not even have guessed it was under warranty after so long. The service tech, Larry, was truly exceptional. For over 2-months Birkhead continuously told us that they were 2-weeks out from being able to do our work. This came from both the owners and the sales rep on our project. We were finally given a start date ONLY for them to no-call, no-show. When we tried calling the sales rep the day of the project, we realized that he had blocked our number. I had 3 different companies come out and nobody could figure out what was wrong with my system, they just kept trying to sell me a new unit. I called Birkhead and they came out and checked it out. Brian was able to get it figured out and fixed within an hour. Sam was also extremely helpful over the phone. I highly recommend this company! They are nice, professional, and know what they are doing.

My AC went out on a Tuesday night in July at about 10 pm . Birkhead came out to fix right away. There was nothing they could do with the 20 year old bad compressor at 11 pm. They were out the very next morning with new air handler and new compressor replacing the old 20 year unit seamlessly with a new Trane unit. Very professional, very… responsive. I was on vacation at the time the unit went out. This is my vacation home Birkhead worked on. I would not have been able to keep working on the remodel of the house without their quick service. Cannot says anything bad about my experience with Birkhead Co. Everyone has horror stories to tell about HVAC technicians, electricians and plumbers. Birkhead came highly recommended. Our air conditioner went out over the holiday weekend. We waited until Tuesday morning to request service. We fully expected to have to wait at least a day or two for someone. They had someone at our house within 2 hours of me calling!! The technician fixed our system very quickly and now we are cool as cucumbers! Very happy with their service and will definitely use them again.

Installed a trane system heating and air high efficiency furnace back in and AC unit back in February had a few condensation issues with the air conditioning unit but the owner Wade Owen and all of his staff have worked diligently to resolve that issue they are very professional very courteous very intent on the systems that they use and just like the commercial says you cannot stop a trane I would highly highly recommend them for any of your HVAC needs Birkhead Heating and Cooling

I wanted to share with you that one of your employees went above and beyond today. Unfortunately I did not get his name. He was at Speedway on the corner of Hurstbourne and Shelbyville around 5pm on 6/22. I had left my wallet on my car and drove off.
