DSA, founded in 1998 in Tampa, Florida, is a full-service architecture, interior design, and visualization firm with a diverse range of project skillsets. DSA has embraced this diversity as one of its core strengths and has organized the firm around project specific teams assembled to address the needs of each client.
With the knowledge of architects, the background of builders, and the business approach of developers, Design Styles Architecture provides a full range of services to get your project completed successfully. We understand the most critical factors impacting all types of projects, starting from procurement of land, pro forma calculations, cost-analysis, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination.
We are located in historic Ybor City next door to the J.C. Newman Cigar Company, America's oldest family-owned premium cigar maker. Our two offices include, a fully restored grocery store, originally built in 1930 and a high-end single-family home built in 1916. The grocery store building is used as our Headquarters and accommodates the majority of the staff, while the single family home is utilized as our Design Center.

We have had the opportunity to work with James Grady at Design Styles Architecture to redesign a mid century waterfront house. James and his team at Design Styles Associates have been excellent in their creativeness, attention to detail, cost management and patience. We would definitely use James and DSA on future projects.

My company has worked with DSA on a few occasions, most recently for renovations on a large office space we purchased in 2017 to become our company HQ.
DSA helped us through the entire process - suggestions and design, figuring out exactly what we needed within our budget, working directly with our contractors to ensure the renovations were being completed correctly, and meeting with city representatives on our behalf. DSA also assisted us in applying for historic status, which they completed entirely autonomously, including a full report to submit to the City.
Everything was seamless, and the
