Carpet is a soft flooring with a cushioned under-padding that not only resists the impact of a fall, but is inherently slip-resistant so it prevents the likelihood of if happening in the first place. The combination of under-padding and carpet also acts as an insulator, which provides actual thermal resistance (or R-value).
For safety reasons we ask that you keep all pets and kids away from the installation area. Prior to the end of your installation you will be asked to walk thru the job with the installer. This gives you the opportunity to ask questions about any final details. The only routine care needed is a simple once over with a dust mop, broom, vacuum cleaner (without a beater brush), or a damp cloth.
Hardwood floors are beautiful and meant to be lived on. Prefinished hardwood boards have a finish that can withstand kids and pets not to mention the inevitably of time. Wood floors have stood the test of time. They have been around for centuries. In fact its not uncommon for you to walk into a 100 year old house and find it still has the original hardwood floors, sometimes still looking great.

Janka Hardness Test is the industry standard for testing the resistance of a sample of wood to denting and normal wear. In an effort to present you with accurate information, the Janka Scale noted by A1 Flooring and Bath and a compilation of results from our various suppliers. Accordingly, our figures may differ from Janka Ratings listed by other flooring suppliers.

REALLY LOVED THEM BRINGING THE SHOWROOM TO MY HOUSE..except he didn't. He showed me pics on his phone! He brought no thoughts or interest. He was speechless. The "sales pitch" was lacking. I didn't get any price ranges...i hope the price list im getting in the email after they take the weekend off is worth it!

In 2018 we had them install Luxury Vinyl Tile. In 2018 we had them re do the floors in our downstairs half bath and Today we had them replace the carpet on our stairs. And all times they were prompt, on time courteous and cleaned up after every job. Me and my wife only go to A1 flooring for all the flooring needs in our house because we know we get a great job at a great price
