They did an amazing job on our 100 year old floors, and the end result is just beautiful. Would definitely work with them again!
Update: we did work with them again. Just had them back a second time to refinish the rest of the floors in our house, and were just as impressed with the great job they did. We now have beautifully restored original floors throughout the house and couldn’t be happier. James is also very friendly and personable, truly a pleasure to work with.

Jim and his assistant did a beautiful job refinishing our tired main level hardwood floors. They were efficient, on time, courteous, and thorough. The result is much better than we anticipated, and we are pleased with out experience! Did I mention that there was almost no dust? Their price was fair, their quality exceptional. We are happy to recommend them with 5 stars!

James was great to work with! He was able to fit my smallish floor refinishing job in with other projects that he was working on. The quality of the work was excellent on floors that had not been refinished in 20+ years. And the cost was really reasonable. I would use Northland Hardwood Flooring and Refinishing again without a doubt!

The owner, James, is a super nice guy. Whenever I would go home for lunch he and his employee (Marcus, also super nice) were hard at work. They always took a 5 min break to show me what they'd done, answer any questions, and explain what's coming next. They showed up on time every day just as I was leaving for work. They worked quickly without sacrificing attention to detail. Marcus does the work on the edges of the rooms meticulously. They completed the work right on schedule. They never talked down to me when I asked questions. They listen. They're very knowledgeable. I wasn't afraid they'd accidentally

I can't say enough about how great the job James at Northland Hardwood Flooring and Refinishing did on our floors! Highly recommended! Arrived early, answered all my questions (I had a lot), and gave me all the information I needed to care for my floors after they were refinished. Amazing talent and a great guy!
