While there are many, many different types of sod grasses for your North Carolina lawn, and more specifically your Raleigh-Durham Lawn, through our years and years of experience successfully installing sod lawns we've identified a number that we know will be successful in our climate. Sod, also known as turf grass, is fully mature lawn (grass, soil, and roots) that's professionally grown and sold in squares or rolls.

I hired Turf Works for weekly lawn maintenance and shrubbery maintenance. Their price was the lowest of the five companies I called. They are on time each week and are not In a rush to get things done. When i have questions Jim is always responsive in a timely manner.

Turf-Works and Jim were great to work with. We had a large backyard that needed sod laid and mulch barrier along the fence. He provided a free quote and the final price was the same as the quoted price. The work was exceptional. There were some hiccups along the way but Jim was communicative and worked through them in a very satisfactory way. We are so happy with the final product. Our 5 year old golden retriever and 13 month old son are loving every second in our new back yard. I would definitely recommend Turf-Works.
