My fiancé and I decided to buy a house in SF and remodel it as our future family home. Our basement has been damp for a while now. And even though we use a dehumidifier we discovered what looked like mold. After looking up a few companies online we hired this mold testing Company San Jose to come inspect the site. They collected some samples which tested positive for mold and they advised us on how to deal with the problem once and for all.

I live in a duplex in San Jose and late last year we had a dispute with our landlord about a mold issue that had been developing for quite some time. Having only moved in a month prior, we were convinced that it was an issue that developed before we became tenants there. The property owner refused to carry out repairs and it was only until we had a mold inspection by Optimum that the dispute ended. The inspection showed that the problem was larger than we initially thought and some of the areas had 3+ months rot. Needless to say, the property owner had to address the repairs.

I was very impressed with Optimum Mold, especially Elad. He was really knowledgeable, and he most importantly gave me his time to explain the process for inspecting for mold, and treating mold. He also made me feel that he wasn’t going to charge me more than he needed to and that he would assess how much we needed to be aggressive in looking for the mold. My wife and I run a bakery in Palo Alto, California. Two months ago we had a mold scare that almost had us shut down by the local health department.
