Growing up in a family of 13 siblings, the Otten brothers learned the importance of family from a young age. Renato & Tim founded Select Surfaces in 2009 to create a business that would not only change the standards in our industry, but would provide opportunities for team members, clients, and partners to redefine success for themselves.
Providing design, fabrication, and installation of premium stone countertops for customers in the Chicagoland area. Granite is a natural stone quarried from the earth and cut into slabs. Quartz is also a natural stone, but it goes through a manufacturing process that makes it non-porous, more consistent, and more durable.

This warranty registration is a ticket to your peace of mind regarding the quality and sturdiness of your stone installation. It is a Full Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects, but not against improper installation or alterations to the product. Be assured that we stand by our words when we talk about quality, knowing that every customer is equally important to us.

Customer service is Top-Drawer - I did not purchase from them because i went in a different direction for my project. I was referred to them by Cosinteno in Chicago because I needed a top for a small vanity and they suggested Select Surfaces would be able to do the fabrication and possibly have a remnant.
Shea was professional, friendly and asked great questions. Within an hour she had sent me a quote that was professional and reasonably priced. Because this top is for a vanity in another state, my out-of-state contractor had an issue with the fabrication and installation being done by 2 different
