John just finished a complete photography studio renovation for me that included drywall repair & painting as well as new laminate flooring, baseboards & ceilings and some misc. I hired John Hughes to paint and make extensive long-delayed structural repairs to my very old detached two-car garage and to repair and paint the shingles of the second floor dormers of my 105 year-old arts-and-crafts house.

John went above and beyond in every aspect of the job, he is a consummate professional and craftsman, I could not be more… pleased. And his rate is so affordable, he charged far less than I was expecting to pay. I feel lucky to have found the most skilled old-school all-around home repair and renovation guy out there. I had a very tight timeline and he went above and beyond to make sure my timeline was met without cutting any corners. The studio looks beautiful and I'm beyond happy with the job he did.
