Services
Ever wonder how you're able to ride comfortably in an airplane? After all, when you're that high up in the air, the temperatures are below freezing yet you remain comfortable in the cabin dressed in your ordinary clothing. You're also sitting few feet from massive jet engines, but you're able to carry on a conversation with the person sitting next you.
Magnetite windows were invented by an energy physicist named Ken Foster in the 1970's. He was commissioned and funded by MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) to find a way to insulate the windows in high rise buildings from the inside. From the beginning, he knew that using acrylic was going to be part of the solution, but had tried many fastening systems before one night he woke from a dream and went to his kitchen for a snack.
Since 2014, Magnetite windows have been featured on the Travel Channel show Hotel Impossible 3 times. Each time, these acrylic window solutions have helped hotel owners increase their guests comfort by installing Magnetite windows. Hotel Impossible host Anthony Melchiorri has returned to Buddy and his service time and again because of the superior results and the ease of service.
Magnetite Magnetic Windows are a unique interior mounted insulating window that attaches and seals magnetically around the entire perimeter of the prime window. These interior insulating windows provide far better noise insulation than single glazed windows. They also provide increased energy savings than standard single glazed windows by doubling the resistance to conductive heat loss and virtually eliminating air infiltration.
Magnetite Windows can be installed on a large scale on many different styles of windows. The same technology that jet planes use to seal their windows and keep their passengers comfortable can be used in your building without having to replace a single window. These windows attach to the inside of your window frames by magnetic force.
