After serving in the US Air Force and a stint in Vero Beach working with Penny Chandler at the Indian River County Chamber of Commerce, Christiana Lipscombe entered the creative and chaotic construction industry in Roanoke, Virginia circa 2004. She was lucky enough to meet and mentor with Dianne Zeigler, owner of Parsell & Zeigler General Construction, who at the time was a massive home builder and Realtor in the Roanoke Valley.
Working around construction sites day after day offered an education that cannot be taught in a school room. In 2006, she bought, renovated and flipped her first property. That was to become her full time profession for the next 10 years. As she watched the market in Vero Beach improve she looked for a new adventure which is why she opened a cabinet design business in 2016 right in the heart of beautiful Vero Beach, Florida.

Semi-custom cabinets are made to order and offer custom finishes and many different door styles to choose from. Some customizations are offered making them much more versatile than stock cabinets. This allows you to create a personalized look for your kitchen, but at a much lower price point than custom cabinets.

We hired Distinctive cabinetry to install new cabinets in our house. Christiana and Adam came out to consult and give us an estimate. Those two are not only very knowledgeable but helpful in designing and laying out our new kitchen. They gave us e very reasonable price and did a great job. When I moved in to my home I knew I would have to remodel the kitchen immediately. After obtaining several estimates, I was referred to Distinctive Cabinet Designs by a neighbor. Christina was very patient as I went through the design process, she listened to my ideas and provided input. She even came over before the demo and laid out painters tape for me to visualize where the fridge was going to go. As I was on a tight budget she worked with me on cabinet choices and finishes. I'm completely satisfied with how the kitchen turned out and would definitely recommend Distinctive Cabinety Designs
