It has been operating since 1983, as a family owned business. The owner, Carl Burroughs has worked in the lumber and flooring industry for 38 years.
At Burroughs Hardwoods we work with professional installation crews that are skilled, clean, courteous and respectful. The installers that work with us are licensed and insured, with years of experience in the industry. Our installers pay attention to the details and do not cut corners. Aacer Flooring, is a company with more than 100 years of experience in every part of the wood flooring industry. The employees have logged, milled, manufactured and even installed hard maple and oak flooring. This bottom-up knowledge of the business created the state-of-the-art manufacturing facility with an eye to quality, consistency and customer satisfaction.

I purchased approximately $3,000 worth of Mirage Engineered hard wood from Burroughs. I also had one of their preferred installers, handle the installation. The first red flag was burroughs would only accept a credit card if I paid the 2.5% visa charges them? Unusual, this cost is usually built in as a cost of doing business. The installation was fairly smooth (1 day) but about a month after parts of the floor began buckling-up. The installer failed to seal the concrete and I was told 25 year old concrete does not need to be sealed (red flag 2). Since them too much of the floor was buckling up

This place is very different once you make the payment , I won’t recommend anybody. In hardwood, nobody can measure it exactly. They never accepts return because he don’t want to return the money at all. They put 30 days return policy from the time you ordered, this is the only shop that can do this New Jersey, please stay away.

It was a great experience working with Frank and Carl. This family owned business is run very well. They were patient during these though times and waited till we got comfortable. I can’t speak highly enough about my experiences getting new hardwood floors from Burroughs Hardwoods.
It’s hard to find good customer service and hardwood flooring sample selection these days, let alone someone you know will send skilled and qualified installers to put it in. I grew up near Carl’s store and had driven past it my whole life; so when I bought my condo in 2010 they were one of my visits. Carl helped me pick out a beautiful and affordable Brazilian Cherry floor for the place, and his installers did a great job which on its own probably deserved a 5 star review.

I was interested in having hardwood floors installed in my foyer and kitchen and decided to stop in at Burroughs. Frank was wonderful to work with and he was able to match the existing wood flooring used throughout the rest of my home. I used their installation crew and they were amazing, working quickly and neatly. Pricing, customer service, and installation were all excellent and I highly recommend using Burroughs.
