Manny and Angela Siquara decided to leave frigid Boston and move to the Emerald Coast in 2006. After over a decade in the restaurant service outsourcing business, they decided to open Stone Network and dedicate themselves to providing quality stone countertops to the booming construction market locally.
Marble is a metamorphic type of limestone, originating when the limestone is exposed to high pressure and high temperatures. This explains why the areas with the most marble tend to also be areas with vulcanic activity and high limestone content in the ground. This process produces remarkable, unique colors and beautiful veins in the stone.
For instance, soapstone kitchen counters are quite common. Soapstone is also often used in sculpture, large and small - famously, the Christ the Redeemer statute in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is made of this rock. Quartzite is a metamorphic rock composed 95% of quartz grains. This stone is even tougher than granite and visually it even resembles marble. Quartzite is especially resistant to high temperatures and chemical products. It is the perfect combination of durability and beauty, and though it is most often used in kitchens, it can be used anywhere in your home.

We‘re really pleased with the outcome of our countertops. We got our kitchen countertops done as well as 3 bathrooms. They were very professional and timely. Our only issue was the slow communication. Often, we were left wondering if we’d ever hear back from them regarding a quote or an update (on multiple occasions) Still, we’re happy and would work with them again. Thanks, Stone Network!

We own a couple of rental homes in Destin and wanted to have new kitchen counter tops installed. We worked with the Stone Network team remotely, with them sending pricing and pictures of recommended granite. We arranged the install and never even met in person. When we saw the finished counters for the first time (months later) we were WOWED by the look. They did such a great job, unsupervised. Thank you.
