Throughout the build process they were friendly and generally responsive. Some of the questions we had regarding quality or what appeared to be questionable workmanship had slow responses. They did tell us that the lot we got was the only one on the street that could fit the style we wanted, at first we were okay but since moving in figured out why they railroaded us here. There are now homes just as big if not bigger going into other lots we had asked about and been told would not work.
The real issues have arisen post move-in. Our water heater was completely dead on move in day, called Pyatt

If you are considering the purchase of a new home, I absolutely recommend Pyatt Builders. We moved from a larger custom home to a Pyatt "production" home and are thrilled with the result. They were very flexible about upgrades and changes in the plan. Our home looks custom and is of great quality, both in materials and workmanship!

As a Realtor, this is one of the least communicative builders I've worked with. I could write a whole list of all the times Pyatt dropped the ball in this transaction and may do so below if I don't run out of steam first. As far as the construction, and this is an attempt to be fair to Pyatt, it wasn't bad. Lot of little issues that all got corrected prior to closing, which is normal.

Currently building with Pyatt and if you're looking for a quality-built home keep looking. Very shoddy workmanship. This issue started when the wood was first dropped off. The crew ran over the ends of the I-joists with their equipment on site. I let the field superintendent know and he said everything would be ok. A few days later the framing was up and I noticed the damaged I-joists was used in our home so I waited and soon after the crew was cutting wood on the upper floor of our house and cutting into the good OSB floor. I was really upset at this point and called the field superintendent and

We have been in our Pyatt Home for a month now and are happy with the finished product. It was fun to see the house being built and many great memories made along the way.
On the verge of a global pandemic Pyatt Builders delivered.
Post construction they have been great too. Their contractors have been great as we watch them continue to build homes around. They have been very friendly and have interacted with our boys helping to create lasting memories and hours of enjoyment. They take the time to answer questions and explain their jobs to our boys.

Pyatt Builders provided us with outstanding service from start to finish. During design, they allowed us to customize our build in ways no other builder we visited would, such as allowing us to purchase a tub of our choosing instead of using their standard selection. The actual build process was completely stress free. Special thanks to our superintendent, Bill, for that. He was extremely thorough and professional so we could rest easy knowing that our home build was in capable hands. If you are considering a new build instead of purchasing an existing home, Pyatt should be your first choice.

My wife and I worked with Pyatt to build our 1st home and we could not be happier with the process from start to finish. The design studio staff was great at helping us pick out everything and the crew that built our home did a great job and kept everything on time. Throughout the entire process, their communication and professionalism were outstanding!

First off I need to start with saying Doug our construction supervisor was excellent. Any issue I had or thought of I would text or email Doug and he would give me a reasonable time frame of when it would be fixed and how he would go about taking care of it. There were several times I brought things to his attention and he already was aware of the situation. I only lived 5 minutes down the road from the build so I was here 4-5 times a week. If at all possible I would recommend doing this. That way you can catch whatever you see as a issue and get it addressed before the home is in the next stage

A building project can be a nightmare, but we found it to be quite enjoyable with Pyatt Builders! From the design center to completion, they treated it like our home not just a job. We were downsizing and decided to build with Pyatt because we had heard a lot of good things about them. We weren't disappointed! From start to finish they were right on top of things and always kept us informed of what was going on. We closed on time which is more than a couple of our friends could say who used different builders. We absolutely love our new home. It's everything we could have hoped for.
