Great experience with North Dallas Tree & Sod. They just re-sodded our backyard after it was torn up by a construction project. They worked hard all day to get it done and did a great job. St Augustine sod was hard to find this spring but they communicated well about the delays and got it done as soon as possible.

This company does poor work. The website says they have a 9 step process or something but the results speak for themselves. The grass planted was brown and already has dead spots. The yard was NOT LEVELED so we still have places that pool water which will kill the grass and high spots where the mower chops dirt. I paid $5000 cash for my yard to be tilled, leveled, graded, treated, and sodded. I dealt with Bob Girot who upsold me from St. Augustine to Zoysia and this Zoysia is trash. Brown, and patchy. It's hard to see the low spots in the pictures, but the green

Reached out to this company for an estimate by text as instructed by their voicemail. Company responded asking for my info, then became completely nonresponsive after I replied. I replied a second time and still no response. So even though I never got the opportunity to hire them, I definitely can't recommend them based on their poor communication skills. If they're this bad with an inquiry, I wouldn't trust them to do any work for me.

Working with Geoff and his team was fantastic. From the first call with Bob, to the time the crew pulled away from the job. Good communication, great prep work, careful and precise installation of the sod. Very responsive we made our first contact with Geoff on a Friday, the job being completed a week later. Geoff literally saved the day for us! We had our drain repaired which caused some needed grading issues. If sod wasn't applied soon the coming rain would have ruined the new grade. Geoff was literally able to be at my home within an hour to install the needed sod. I'm not saying he will always be at your home within an hour but I do know if it's possible he will make a way.

While Geoff was knowledgeable and friendly, the poor quality zoysia sod he planted at my new house was infested with weeds. Zoysia was recommended because it would've made my lawn low maintenance, but it's now a high maintenance lawn due to all the weeds. I've had sod planted at my last house that was high quality and weed free. I now have the ugliest lawn on the block. I'm highly disappointed in the quality of sod planted at my house. Since he doesn't guarantee his product, it was a waste of money. I feel ripped off. Never again will I use this company.

Jeff offered solution to my dying backyard lawn where sunlight is an issue. By changing my initial idea for St. Augustine to his recommendation of Zoysia, I will have the best solution for north Texas shady backyard. He offered a reasonable price, came when he said he would and installed the 400sf blending with my existing grass. Efficient, great look and excellent service. He will be my "GO TO LAWN GUY" from now on.

We have a new build in Corinth & were in need of St Augustine sod. Jeff & John did a great job at a fair price. They laid 14 pallets, we had not ordered enough grass but they took care of us. They had a full schedule the next day but found a way to come at the end of their day & laid 2 more pallets. We are very happy with their professionalism & job. I highly recommend them.

I want to give a big shout out to North Dallas Tree and Sod. We had them out to trim our crepe myrtles out front and replace our fence. The old fence was due to fall down any day so this is especially beautiful to me! Geoff and his team were here on time and stayed late to get the last bit of fence done so we could let our dogs outside that night. Start to finish done in 2 days with a little bit of trim work left for morning 3 and it's beautiful and looks very sturdy. The crepe myrtles look fantastic too! I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again for other tasks.

I purchased my home just over a year ago. As a newbie homeowner, there is much that I do not know. For instance, I did not consider that trees get bigger over time. Which is weird, because I am fully aware of the fact that pretty much the one thing trees do is GROW. It's, like...their one job. Despite this knowledge, it came as a shock to me when one day I looked up and lo! A giant tree branch was growing from my tree clear across to my neighbor's roof! And POOF -- another branch was pressing down on top on my patio, threatening to knock it down at the next good gust of wind!
