Services
WAMO Studio has extensive experience in a multitude of building types: high end custom homes, multi-family affordable housing, hospitality, commercial and civic. We have completed buildings to the highest LEED certification standard - Emerald as well as Passive House certified buildings. We offer interior design services in addition to the architectural services.
First, we work closely with you to clarify the project, taking note of your stated goals, program, and specific requirements. We define the required functions and spatial needs of the project and discuss site features, opportunities and limitations, building placement, etc. Next, we use the established program to begin concept diagrams.

WAMO is simply the best. For years we had been thinking of turning our small bedroom into a master suite with its own bathroom. We could never match our budget with what we had imagined. WAMO came along and designed a modified version of our original concept that is far better than what we had dreamed of and fit within our budget.
Their sensitivity to our needs and their conscientious persistence in developing the perfect design for us went far beyond our expectations. They are imaginative, creative and artistic and their advice in designing our addition greatly improved on our original concept

We worked with Carol and Vahid on a major remodel in White Rock. They were fantastic! Great ideas, easy to work with, and very responsive. We were able to take a VERY dated 1970s home and turn it into something we love. I can’t say enough good things.

We had an amazing experience with WAMO! The team is professional, conscientious and visionary. Vahid (WAMO Studio) designed my custom, pueblo revival style home in Santa Fe, NM. I was very pleased with the design and the subsequent construction support that insured the design quality. He designed the house exactly the way that I wanted it to appear inside and outside. He also insured that the design was compliant with the city's design, building codes and the local HOA's mandates. The quality of work and dedication to my design ideas were outstanding. My house looks like a work of art.

I cannot recommend WAMO Studio enough. Even 5 years after moving into our house, I still marvel at how awesome it is. It was a real pleasure working with Vahid on this project and the end result surpassed all of our expectations. The design is modern and beautiful. Vahid worked hard to make sure our house was incredibly efficient and we received a Passive House Certification at the end of it. It is so well insulated that we couldn't even hear construction of a house going up next door. And when it's sunny in the winter (most of the time), we don't even need to turn the heat on. My husband and I moved to Santa Fe a year and a half ago. Initially we thought we would go with a design build firm but we found an incredible home with one studio-we needed 2. We interviewed WAMO when we were considering a home and went to them when we needed a studio built. We recently moved to Santa Fe and purchased a 1940s house in a great location at a reasonable price, but it needed refurbishment. Vahid Mojarrab and Carol Ware, principals in the architectural firm WAMO, were recommended to us and we struck up an immediate rapport.
