Indicated as a percentage, your furnace's AFUE tells you how much energy is being converted to heat. For example, an AFUE of 90 means that 90% of the fuel is being used to warm your home, while the other 10% escapes as exhaust with the combustion gases. The owner hung up the phone on me and all I simply wanted to know was a price. Perhaps I don't know enough about this industry but I am also a business owner and would never do that to a potential customer. She didn't try to meet me half way. I told her I just wanted to check prices and that I already had a contractor. How can I possibly do my due diligence if I cannot get any prices? SMDH
