Steel Piers - We level slab foundations by driving steel piers through the problem layers of soil and rock until the piers are anchored securely against bedrock. In Austin and surrounding areas, the average bedrock depth ranges from 10 - 30 feet. To meet our rigorous specifications and expectations, we use steel that is certified and individually tested to ensure its strength and rigidity.
We Specialize in Sewer & Drain Line excavation for both Commercial and Residential Customers in Central Texas. When choosing a plumbing company to perform sewer & drain replacement, a property owners main focus should be the excavation portion of the job. Trenches and tunnels must be excavated to expose the sewer & drain lines for repair.
The most common reason is that the materials used to make the sewer pipes were substandard. Cast Iron, Clay, and Orangeburg sewer lines are rigid and not forgiving. When the soil they are embedded in and the structure they are connected to heaves and drops they fracture under the pressure. Another issue with these materials is that Cast Iron, Clay, and Orangeburg corrode and deteriorate over time.
Adequate Watering - Sufficient watering to prevent soils shrinkage around your slab foundation. Allowable Load - Weight / load transferred to each individual peer, measured by pressure per square inch or PSI. Backfill - The soil that is used to backfill tunnels and holes, typically the same soil that was used to excavate.

CastleRock came to our house to evaluate if it needed leveling. They found that we had an excellent foundation that needed no repairs or any leveling. We appreciated their honesty and professionalism. We had previously had Pro-Level inspect, who said the foundation needed a lot of reinforcements and repairs, as well as leveling. After speaking with 6 different companies, including the one that did the original repair on my home's foundation I chose Castle Rock Foundation and am VERY glad I did. Carlos was the only person who actually listed to our concerns. Others were dismissive and treated us like we were incapable of understanding engineering. I hired CastleRock to dig a trench to replace a portion of my sewer line. I had looked in vain for a company with a mini excavator and also thought about hiring day laborers and supervising them myself, but I was worried that either might bust the existing line. Once I talked to Daniel Byrne and he explained that they dig everything by hand and that this project was far less complicated than the tunneling they do under foundations, I knew I had the right guys. This is not my first rodeo dealing with foundation companies in Austin. Owner Dan Byrne gave me impeccable service, as he went the extra mile more than once to ensure the viability of the job and my satisfaction with it. My tenant called to tell me that cracks were opening in the walls of the dining area and kitchen in a house that I had just renovated. I had the feeling of dread. I could see that floor was wonky.
