I've had 2 jobs done by Cortese masons and both have been outstanding. The 1st project was a new front porch and bluestone sidewalk done 15 yrs ago and it still looks fantastic today. Last year they built a stone retaining wall around a pool patio, replacing a RR-tie wall. It included drainage remediation as well. We couldn't be more happy with the upgrade, it's created such a beautiful setting for us.They are very easy to deal with and their masons are topnotch. I highly recommend them.

JCM just did the stone work on our house. I watched as they chiseled each individual stone to make this beautiful work of art. I’m a little bias, but I do feel our house stands out because of the fine details in the natural stone. Can’t thank them enough for their professionalism and getting the job done rather quickly (once it started).

A pleasure to deal with from getting the estimate to completion of our job, which was the replacement of a broken concrete walk with paving stones and replacement of brick steps with a slab finish. The work crew was professional and did incredible work. Price was very reasonable. Couldn't ask for a better mason firm to work with!

Cortese put in retaining walls and a beautiful stone patio for us, using natural bluestone. They were professional, easy to get in touch with, helped with the design process (including guiding us on how to remain in budget), and finished the project early and on budget. They worked well with the contractors who were also doing work. They were a real pleasure to work with and I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone contemplating a large or small stonework project.

The Cortese mason's work was a treat to watch unfold here at the Church... Their craftsmanship is excellent and the improvements they made to our front entryway is both beautiful and welcoming.
They recently transformed the back yard of our parsonage with a beautiful stone/bluestone sidewalk, which has changed the whole feel of the property!

Can't write enough about their excellent work. I've had them build a wall, steps, irrigation system. To illustrate their quality, my neighbors have come over to ask "who did that work".
And, they stand behind what they do, if there is an issue (I am describing something that occurs 5 years after the work was completed), they will re-mediate that issue quickly, well, and without cost.

I hired John Cortese Masons to replace my front steps and walkway with bluestone. The completed job looks fantastic, exactly what we wanted. The staff was always very personable, on time, and very involved in the job. I am extremely happy with the finsihed product and would definitely reccomend them to anyone who is interested in stone work.
