They are really bad.
My pool was very dirty and the pool water heater did not work, I called them and they told me that they could go and check my pool in a week or two (the girl in the phone is awful), I had to call another company and pay for a service that I pay to be done every month, the pool was very dirty and all that covered the drains.
I call this company back to request a refund for the month because they weren't doing their job and they said the manager would call me, it's been 4 weeks and I haven't heard from them I even emailed them, but of course i received a charge

I had my pool and patio resurfaced through Horizon which I am very happy with their sub contractors they used however, their pool service and follow up was sub par at best. Since our yard is fenced and I have a large dog I requested a "call ahead" so I could put the dog away for the pool to be cleaned. I was told they don't "call ahead." I asked if they could give me a day and time frame when they might come to clean the pool and that was also denied. Several times they came unannounced only to be met by my dog. Was my pool cleaned and checked? Who knows. I sure

This is the worst company I have ever used to service my pool the service tech spent a whopping five minutes a week doing practically nothing and when I politely complained I didn't even get a call back to discuss my issues. I'm assuming brushing the sides of my pool and cleaning it was just too much for my them! I gave a one star rating because they did vacuum! Lol

We had Horizon Pool replace our pool pump, filter, pool light and timer. My husband and I could not be happier with the entire experience. We mainly dealt with Jesse who was extremely knowledgeable, responsive, friendly, and professional. The gentleman that installed everything did an amazing job!
We have worked with multiple pool companies and by far this has been the best experience we have had. Very happy to have found our forever home for all our pool needs!

Our Pool Heat Pump died after a long and appreciated life. After contacting multiple companies and receiving widely variable quotes, we chose Horizon Pool & Patio in Wellington.
We agreed to their contract on a Thursday, giving them a down payment the same day, we waited. On Monday, I opened my blinds to see our new Aquacal Heat Pump sitting outside. The next morning, Tuesday, I saw at a truck in my driveway at 8:30 AM. The pool heat pump was installed by 10AM. Quick, efficient, and gracious explanations.

I went in today to replace my pool net: the fine white plastic mesh in the one I've had for a few years had finally started ripping because I don't rinse off the chlorine after using it and I leave it out in the sun. So, naturally, I went to the back and took a new net off the rack and brought it up front and bought the whole new assembly. Before I left, I happened to mention that it was the netting that was ripping and the owner happened to be sitting there and told me "well, you know you can just buy a new net and replace it if the rest of the thing is ok" and he showed me

New home owners in the area. Previous owners had Horizon as their Pool resource. We are so glad we reached out to them. Chad has been awesome with regular follow up and a proposal that covers all we need at a good price. Wait! it gets better. My first experience with the pool guy was just incredible! He had dog treats in his pocket. He's now our 3 dogs best friend, and was very efficient at cleaning the pool and explaining what he was doing. Thanks to the team at Horizon. I went to a local franchise pool store in Wellington to have my water tested. They told me I needed several chemicals for my pool, totaling over $80.00.
I just wasn't comfortable with this since it seemed so high. I then took my sample to Horizon Pool and Patio and they told me I needed about $15.00 worth of chemicals. The one very expensive chemical that the franchise store said I needed was not even on Horizons diagnosis.
I followed Horizons suggestions and the pool looked perfect in just a few days. Obviously, I did not return to the franchise store. Horizon is an honest, helpful, family

Horrible customer service! I called on Wednesday and scheduled an appointment to have someone come out to replace my pool pump on Friday (my day off). When no one showed up on Friday morning, I called to inquire. I was told that even though they had my information, the scheduler did not assign anyone for my job for the day. Apparently, no one cared to share that information with me. Incredible! How to you operate a business like this? The person who answered the phone told me that she did not know when it could be rescheduled. I told her that I knew--NEVER!

When moving from California to Wellington Horizon was recommended by my home inspector for pool inspection. Chuck Grove was wonderful and did a really good job. Therefore when we moved in I did not hesitate to call them to have my pool drained and acid washed. Their technician did a good job with cleaning the pool, but I had asked him to replace all the burnt out light bulbs in our fountains and pool while he was at it. 2 of the 4 were left hanging out of their sockets. Weeks later my pool guy brought to my attention that the spa which is attached to the pool was not acid washed. Minor fixes

Unfortunately its not possible to enter 0 stars but I would caution anyone against using this company.
I could not possibly be more disgusted by the lack of quality work which I am having remediated now by a professional. On top of that, the owner (Chuck) increased the price and refused to honor his word and a verbal agreement.
If you want quality work done by an honest company then look elsewhere... I wish I had...

Pool pump worked fine on a Sunday afternoon.....died on a Monday morning when it had to go back to work I guess. Anyway, 2 pool repair phone calls later and no one could make it out same day to look at it. So, after watching a quick youtube video on pump repair I pulled off the motor and hauled it in to Horizon. Marty was incredibly helpful, in fact so helpful that it was more like an hour long educational session. I ended up buying a new motor. It was a bit more expensive then I could have ordered it for online, but I ended up saving on the labor and installed it myself. In conclusion, this
