Absolutely the best experience we've had moving. James, Jamie, Juan, and Nick were absolute professionals. Friendly and hard working. Susan and Joe were very responsive, and gave us easily the best estimate compared to the competition. I hired J. Palermo to move furniture from Lakewood Ranch, FL to Chapel Hill, NC. There were 2 pick up locations in LWR. I received quotes for 6 moving companies before hiring J Palermo, and they were on the high mid-range of the quotes. I also looked at the reviews, Better Business Bureau and licensing boards and spoke with various moving supply companies. Only our possessions were moved on the truck, we had a firm pick up and delivery date and price, and they provided their insurance documentation. The employees are their employees and not contract. The move was accomplished without any problems

Wow wow wow! Expectations absolutely exceeded. The first indication that this moving company was great was how pristine the moving truck was! Not a scratch in sight, which made us confident that our furniture would be safe. Susan (the secretary) was SO accommodating when we needed to switch moving days. When the movers came to get our furniture, they sent us Travis and Jamie who were polite, efficient, and amazing overall! Palermo had a crew of guys moving a tenant into his storage unit at Simply Self Storage today. They were so nice & accommodating when I asked them to move their car, for it's protection. They were respectful of our property & the customer's property. They were light hearted & having fun in their job, it was nice to see. I highly recommend them!

OMG... Joe Palermo’s moving service is truly deserving of 5 Stars!! The men that help me move-Jamie & Tommy- were not only totally professional, but a delight to work with. This is the 2nd time I have hired J Palermo Movers in Sarasota, FL.
Joe is very detail oriented and organized person. He helped me find a storage facility when his company storage facility was at full capacity. Joe was able to guide me what size storage unit I would need for my home. His estimate was detailed and right on target with quoting the moving job.
This recent move I had Jeremy, Jaime and James as my movers. What a "PROFESSIONAL" and "GREAT moving crew" that came to my home - helped me pack up and move into storage. I have never had a nicer moving crew then Jeremy, Jaime and James !

We just moved and used J. Palermo Moving and Storage. What stood out for me in deciding to use this business was that the owner, Joe Palermo, comes out for the estimate. He does not brag or put down other movers, but gave me a sense of confidence when I could speak with the owner face-to-face. By the way, he also showed up on both ends of the move, a nice touch. The movers themselves are courteous and good- they had no problem taking apart or putting back together furniture. The person we spoke with at their office, Susan, was a great help as well. As a retired Navy vet, I moved many times during a 30+ year career and this was one of the best moves ever. I recently flooded my home and had to store my furniture while new flooring was installed. Tommy and Jamie packed me up and delivered my belongings back to me. Everything was expertly packed and returned without a scratch! They were cheerful and really helpful when setting everything back in place. I highly recommend these movers...when I downsize I’ll use them again
