Remove and clean glass, logs, and burner. Clean pilot assembly and orifice, check for proper voltage of thermocouple and thermopile, remove debris below, adjust air shutter, change batteries (if applicable), check gas fittings, gaskets, and seals.
Replace pilot assemblies, thermocouples, thermopiles, ignitors, modules, transformers, blowers, gas valves, burners, pilot tubes and fittings, glass assembly, wall switches, thermostats, remotes, gas log valves (manual and safety pilots), etc. Common replacement parts are stocked on truck to eliminate additional trips.

My natural gas direct vent fireplace wasn’t working. Got a recommendation from a neighbor to use Steve Sully fireplace repair. Could not be more pleased with the service. They are busy, so might take a week or 2, but I see why. Nicest people. Fixed the fireplace, buffed the glass, adjusted flame. Looks better and burns better than it did new. Very pleased

Job well done and very happy with Steve and Kims service from start to finish. I had three gas fireplaces that required a professional looksie in my new home. Two that I was unsure of how to operate and one that was on the fritz. When I called and spoke to Kim she knew just about everything there is to know about the fireplaces in my home and made me feel 100% confident that my issues will be solved upon Steves departure. They removed a gas log set from a family member's house and replaced it with a sealed unit. I called to have them connect and install the logs taken from their house into ours. They scheduled an install 4 weeks out, which was a long time but no big deal. I checked in with them 10 days later to confirm and they decided they did not want to install the used logs. So I wasted 10 days waiting for them and likely would have never heard from them had I not been the one to initiate contact.

Fast, friendly, efficient, and effective service. I was able to quickly schedule an appointment via email with Kim, and, a few days later, Steve left our aging gas-log fireplace looking nice and working well again after a very short time. It is great that he carries standard parts in his vehicle so he didn't have to make multiple trips! I'd use this service again and would highly recommend to others.

I needed someone to inspect and clean our direct vent gas fireplace. Steve and his wife Kim got excellent reviews, so we went with them. It is easy to see why. If you are looking for an honest, fair, and enjoyable experience, I suggest you contact Scully's. Steve showed up when Kim said he would. He was very conscientious, removing his shoes, wearing a mask, putting down a drop cloth, and went out of his way to keep things clean. I called around to several fireplace repair companies and all of them could not help me. I was referred to Steve Scully and I’m so glad. He and his wife are so helpful and honest and true experts in the field. I can’t imagine anyone better. SERVICE BEFORE PROFIT - I contacted Scully Fireplace Repair about an odor of gas coming from my insert fireplace. I talked to Kim Scully to setup a service appointment. Before setting up the appointment she walked me through a self diagnostic to determine if I could resolve the problem myself and avoid the cost an unnecessary service call. Following her instructions I was able to easily solve the problem myself. Kudos for placing service before short-term profit. Most others would have just scheduled the appointment, charged for the service to fix a basic user error or worse, and moved on. This

I contacted Steve Scully to see if he could come out and take a look at my gas fireplace. I was having a problem getting it ignited. He emailed me back to tell me that I was unfortunately out of his service area. However, he took it upon himself to send me an email with instructions on how to take care of my problem along with a link to my manual. With his help, I was able to get it lit. Thank you Steve. The folks that are in your service area are very blessed to have someone like you near by.

So I didn’t actually have service performed by this company because I am out of their service area, but I would gladly pay more to deal with great people like Kim and Steve. Kim was extremely knowledgeable about our fireplace and directed me to the answers I needed. Steve followed through I’m assuming after hours with an email that had our fireplace owner manual attached to show us we didn’t need to fix part of our fireplace. (I had no idea fireplaces had owners manuals!) He also directed us to another company that was able to save us even more money. Do yourself a favor and make the call
