In 1952 Don Morris started his first company in Lincoln City Oregon, Don H. Morris Inc and he specialized in rock and paving. In 1968 Don's son, Larry Morris, began working for the family business which would be re-named in 1972. Together father and son built the company into a landmark establishment on the Oregon coast.

Morris is a great company to work with. Ashley is very helpful and easy to work with in the office. We ordered too much rock and she worked with her manger Larry to help us out and return the extra rock. They really go the extra mile to help a customer! Larry brought a loader and truck to recover the rock which he generously agreed to credit back to us. This saved us five hundred dollars! It is a great way to start the holiday season!

A little weekend yard work went so smooth thanks to Morris excavation!! We scraped half our yard up to put in a driveway and re-seed our lawn..
At $7 per yard I hauled away all the old sod
And dumped all my concrete and asphalt for the same $7!
They ran a tab for me which made these multiple trips much quicker and helped me make the most out of my Saturday.
The yard has at least 5 different entrances/exits so you don’t have any challenges trailering your loads..
The folks here are very friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are affordable and the the Saturday hours are clutch...

They don't take credit cards. Let me say that again. THEY DON'T TAKE CREDIT CARDS!!!!
Am I kidding? Absolutely not. It appears they are stuck in the 1900's. I wonder if they have a fax or internet?
They do take checks though. How modern is that? I haven't had a checking account since the 1900's and don't remember the last time I wrote a check.
I have to wonder if this is some sort of religious thing. Anyone else have any idea why someone would not take a credit card in this day and age?

Thanks again I love the rock! Got some 3/4 minus, drain rock and some boulders too. Great group to deal with and also real easy to deal with the delivery truck driver. They were able to handle all my rock needs and in a timely fashion too. Will diffidently use these guys again. Thanks again for all the rock, jim. Will post a picture on the rock soon :-)
