Excellent work! We asked Adam and his crew to remove old carpets, sand, and refinish a floor and a staircase from an old house. When the crew found that the carpet was hiding a staircase in much worse shape than estimated, with layers of old paint that had to be scraped out, Adam kept us informed that the crew needed more time, sent many detailed photos, and made sure that the delays would not impact our plans. The results were excellent! The floors were amazing. We noticed that the crew was extra careful: the house was very clean, with no scuffs nor marks, and mostly without dust.

If I could give 100 stars I would. Adam and his crew are the Grand Prospect Ballroom of floor refinishing (they make your dreams come true!). I needed the original floors restored in my 1928 apartment. Adam came to see the floors in person and spent a ton of time looking at them from every angle and considering what they needed. He was able to come out the next day and finish the job in 2 days. the floors looked amazing and the apartment was spotless. Great communication from beginning to end. I really lucked out!

Adam and his team were fantastic. Within two days of calling Wood Vitalize, Adam came for an estimate and then again two days later to do the work which was done within one day-- my floors look great.
Wood Vitalize did a buff and recoat of floors in two rooms of my apartment, they were extremely professional and were able to complete the work within one day. Adam and his team are very knowledgeable about how to preserve and maintain hardwood floors. Great service and value all around.

I had a really good experience with Adam and his crew for a floor sanding job of an old townhouse. He was very responsive and made it a point of coming in for a quote next day or the day after. We were able to get the crew scheduled within three weeks, which was in line with our desired timeframe. Their attention to detail was immaculate. My partner, who works in construction and critiques this sort of work, was ecstatic with how they left it. We’ve both been very pleased with the final result!

Our floors look amazing. We had a tight timeline to get our floors refinished before we moved into our apartment. We also have a difficult building with a lot protocols. Adam was familiar with our building and was able to get all the paper work together quickly and find a date that worked in our timeline. We ran into an issue with the voltage of our building and so Adam and his team had to adjust the work and timeline a bit, but the communication was incredibly clear and easy. We decided not to stain the floors since we needed to move into the apartment, and Adam walked through all our options

Adam came over in February of last year to give me a quote…we weren’t ready to do the job yet, but when we were (about a year later) he came over and gave me an updated quote (which was very close to the previous one!) and we decided to go with his company. We redid our entire house 2nd floor (3 BR’s, a hallway, the staircase coming down and the entire 1st floor which consists of 1 guest room and entire living space). Wood Vitalize is an excellent flooring contractor. I corresponded with Adam directly and he came for an in person visit to inspect the condition of the floor as soon as we got access to the apartment. He is detailed and thorough and answered all my questions and concerns. The company is insured and was able to provide all documentation the building requires within a day. The 5-star reviews don't lie! After a horrible crew literally ruined our floors, we turned to Adam of Wood Vitalize to do it RIGHT. We were under the gun during a gut-reno to get the floors done/fixed in time to FINALLY move in after too many frustrating delays all caused by a contractor we should never have hired :( Adam made time for us with an evening consult to see our apartment and spent a lot of time with us discussing all our options. Super impressed with Adam at Wood Vitalize. I had an issue with floor damage that I discovered once tenants vacated the property. They had stored black plastic bins underneath the bed and in the coat closet that removed the finish off the floors and stained them. I had called other wood experts and did not get a response back. Adam called me soon after I left a message on the business line. He scheduled to fix the floors soon after our first call. I was grateful that  he fit me in, even with his busy schedule. The  price he quoted was reasonable and the work he did to fix the floors

Adam showed up within a few hours from my call. He made his crew available on a short notice to start the following day. My floor had a few blemishes so I had realistic expectations. However, the results exceeded my expectations. Adam's foreman James and another team member did an exceptional job, fixed the floor in record time, and the blemishes are gone!

Adam and his team did a phenomenal job refinishing the floors in my apartment. I just purchased my home and wanted to refinish the floors before moving in. They were able to begin right away and finish on time. The results were excellent! They took off the old finish and restored the floors to a the wood's natural beauty. Adam refinished the wood floors throughout my duplex. They were in terrible shape--whitewashed maple (looked like it had a thin coat of white paint, and was yellowed, blackened, and marked in many places). He gave me a competitive quote (25% lower than the other quote I got) and was incredibly professional, timely, and pleasant to work with. His guys were all great, too. Adam and his crew were amazing to work with. They did a floor refinishing job for two bed room apartment, and turned old red oak wood into beautiful silky, matte floors. Throughout the project, they were professional, punctual, and responsive. Adam constantly communicated with me to make sure that the final outcome is what I desired. In addition, Adam was on top of all the paperwork required by building management, and made the entire process incredibly smooth. I will definitely reach out to him in the future for more floor jobs.

Adam was great! He showed up on time to give me an estimate and was very friendly and very knowledgeable. I immediately felt comfortable as he started explaining the process and what the potential results would be. He made sure to ask me the right questions and that made me feel comfortable as well. We walked the whole house and he pointed out areas that could use a little more work. At no point was he up selling or pushing for other services. We were lucky to have found this company here on Yelp and decided to hire them. ADAM was very responsive and accommodating to our request especially we had to redo the floors of our recently purchased Brooklyn condo during COVID pandemic. He provided COI and Worker's comp insurance with no problem, and even went back-and-forth with our condo management to ensure proper compliance.
