Ed (the owner and certified arborist) understands, loves and takes a pride in his profession. It was fun to watch his crew to do their job. Ed was with his crew and made sure that everything he told us when he gave us the estimate was done. Including cleanup. Our trees look beautiful and healthy and everything around them is clean. El Cheapo Tree Service got it's start in 1992 with "one chain saw and an old Chevy truck." We are new to the area and were shopping for someone to remove this huge tree. They responded quickly with an estimate, expectation of timeline, their schedule, and expected results. We were surprised with their ownership in working with the utility personnel, coordination, and mainly the professionalism and friendliness of their team. Once everything was lined up they were prompt and ask about what we wanted. Yes, what we wanted, not simply how it was going to go! How refreshing. I would refer them to anyone in need of tree service.

14 years ago, El Cheapo removed 4 Laurel Oaks from my property. They were professional, fairly priced, and did great work. A few weeks ago, I needed some trees cleaned up, and regrettably, I contacted the company my neighbor recommended. That company was unprofessional and unreliable. I called El Cheapo and they were prompt to reply and come out. They completed the work on time, as promised, and as quoted. Save yourself the trouble, call El Cheapo first.

We contracted with El Cheapo Tree Service to have a tree removed and four additional trees trimmed and pruned. Ed and his crew arrived about five minutes before the scheduled time, and got to work immediately. Ed, the owner, was on the job site the entire time. I had never watched the removal of a tree before...and was amazed at how professionally it was handled. After that, the tree trimming and pruning, with Ed overseeing every step. My appointment was for today at 8:00 and Ed was here at 7:45 to discuss a palm tree removal. His crew arrived at 7:59 and tree was cut down, stump grounded, all debris raked, hauled, and yard cleaned with the blower....all the trucks were gone by 8:45!

This is the second time we have hired El Cheapo Tree Service to remove trees on our property. Ed is wonderful to work with. He replies quickly with a quote for the services you request and keeps you updated on when his crew will be out to complete the job. The crew arrived on time. They were all friendly and professional. Great company, arrived early for estimate and arrived early on scheduled day of Pruning. They care about your trees and property and Ed is a certified arborist that knows his business and is a nice guy too.
They will give you a fair price and wont nickel and dime you if pruning needs a little more than they expected. They even hung a huge Stag Horn fern from a high branch for us no charge.
We highly recommend them!

El Cheapo Rocks! These guys worked well and efficiently together. From Ed to Monty and the whole crew it was thrilling to watch them remove a huge live oak tree from my backyard between two houses. They love their job and it shows from saying hello, communicating to each other and nicely cleaned up after themselves. They are 5+ rating company and worth 10/10 for customer satisfaction.
