I contacted Hull and Sons because of their hard earned reputation on Yelp and their commitment and understanding to their customer's needs. As a licensed contractor in good standing with 26 years experience, I was impressed with the communication and empathy Hull and Sons showed when I called into their office. I was assured by the lady taking my information that they would come out in a couple of weeks. Hull and Sons has done a number of different roofs for me over the years. I go back to them because their work is always done right. When an issue arises they are always prompt in getting it looked at and fixed no matter the 'weather'. At times they have gone over and above to insure issues are resolved. After reading favorable reviews & considering, the years of experience for this company, we decided to use them to replace our roof. OMG; what a mistake! The first day; the roof was stripped & left uncovered. During the night; it rained! Needless to say; the wood was soaked & now, they couldn't continue, with the roofing job. Materials got switched on us; we were finding nails all over our yard, way after, the job was completed. And; they damaged the eaves all around our house & refused to fix it! I spoke to Cody today and he really helped me on an issue that wasn't something his company was going to fix. If you are looking to have your roof repaired or replaced, look no further than Hull and Sons. 20 years ago we had our shake roof replaced by them with an Owens Corning 40 year shingle. They did a fantastic job and it still looks great today. We did have a small leak during this past rain storm (in May?) and we called to have them come out to fix it.
Debbie was extremely nice and even took the time to find our old file even after 20 years.
Arron came out, looked in the attic and then on the roof where he found the raised nail that was creating the problem. (Not bad after 20 years.) He

I don't like to leave negative reviews so I waited quite a while to post this however I feel like I need to share this information. I had a very bad leak in three places in my home. I knew I needed a new roof but also knew that I cannot possibly afford one this year. I called Hull And Sons based on positive yelp reviews and the fact that they are local. I was impressed initially with their professionalism and what seemed to be some knowledge. The gentleman who came out inspected the roof and confirmed what I knew: that I needed a new one. Terrible!!!! The homeowner's association hired this company to roof our unit. The men said they didn't THINK It was going to rain so they left the roof uncovered. It poured rain and water filled the attic and ran through everything electric. It was so bad that water poured out of the ceiling fans and other light fixtures.
Needless to say, everything had to be replaced. Carpet, fixtures, dry walling EVERYTHING! I won't even go into the inconvenience!
My question is" what's wrong with a little common sense from time to time?" Wow!

I had a roof leak that Hull & Sons was supposed to repair in January 2015. In 2017, I had a leak in the exact spot where the original leak was. I called Hull & Sons and was treated like a liar since I'd had solar panels installed in 2016. So I went back and forth between them and Petersen Dean (roofing and solar company), and it was determined that the leak was not because of the solar. Hull & Sons found some debris near one of the roof vents, cleaned the area, and again said the leak was fixed. In March of 2018, I again had a leak in the exact same spot causing more water damage

We used Hull and Sons Roofing in the past for a repair on our business roof. So we call them for a re-roof quote on our home. The quote we received was in the same ball park area as other company's, but they showed up on time and the follow up was much better. They arranged the removal of our solar, then they took the tiles off and re-roofed in two days. Then the solar was reinstalled. They added several vents to the roof, required by new codes. The replaced 4 sky lights with a bronze color to match the composition roof we chose. They did a great job cleaning up, I just can't say enough

If you hire this company, don't let the crew start without the supervisor present. Because if you do, they will try to take every short cut possible and hope you won't notice. These guys price wise were reasonable compared to other roofer's estimates. Aaron came out and seemed knowledgeable. Told me what was included and what to expect. Total feel good estimate and confidence with this company. It all went south very quickly from day one when there was confusion as to what actual termite repairs were to be made before re-roofing started. No supervisor was sent day one. One guy was
