I can't say enough wonderful things about KC and the people who work there. I had never dealt with heating issues until our 35yo furnace conked out. Several places I called asked if I wanted repair at $XX/hour or quotes for a new system and I had no idea what to do.
But then I called Virginia at KC. She was so disturbed by the idea of my elderly dad shivering without a heater that she got Brooks out to the house the very next morning, free of charge, to take a look. When it comes to having issues or needing repairs to a heating system nobody likes to go search and try to figure out who's good and who is fair. Leave it to Yelp to guide those in need (like "I need it now" need) and today was a 5 star experience with KC Home Services. I called early this morning and luckily there was a slot open & Brian arrived a bit ahead of schedule. I'm a little biased considering this is the company my boyfriend Mike works for but I also know what amazing people they are so when my boss said we were having a thermostat issue, I picked up my phone right away and knew exactly who to call. Our tankless hot water heater stopped working (installed by a different company) and we were out of hot water! A few places that we called wouldn't come and look at the problem earlier than a week out.
KC Home services sent over Don Pan the next day to diagnose the problem and suggest a path forward. The whole service was streamlined. Don took pictures, called up Navien, identified what needed to be replaced and drew up a contract to repair on the spot on his iPAD. The cost was provided up front with different options to choose from. He even made sure our warranty was set up appropriately

KC Home Services did our HVAC install two years ago. I am pleased to say that we continue to be totally satisfied with both the unit itself and the installation. Today, we needed a service call for an apparent glitch in the heating function. Everyone we dealt with at KC was excellent. Brooks, Bryan, Rick, Morgan, and the office people Virginia and Leah were top-notch. They answered all our questions, the technicians were clean and polite, we got texts when they were on their way to our house, and when we asked if the technician was vaccinated, they answered, which was important to us. We had a particularly difficult situation which another excellent HVAC company was unable to solve for us. It took several visits for KC to solve our problem, but they solved it for us and we will continue to use and recommend them for HVAC as well

KC Home Services Installed new furnace. Bryan came out to inspect the work on the new furnace. He had to climb up into the attic as well as go on top of the roof in the rain to check on the work that was done. He showed up in the time frame that was promised, was fast, courteous, professional, and friendly. Great sense of humor and seems to really like the work he does. Everyone in the office is extremely helpful as well and is very conscientious of my work schedule.

Our furnace from 1983 bit the dust finally. Completely blew out. Called them left message, they called back within hour. Repair guy comes out to look at it same day, gives us several options, new install scheduled in just a few days from visit. Only took them roughly 5hrs to install. They did everything top notch. Cleaned everything, clean install of the vent on the roof. The entire crew was super friendly, helpful, answered all questions, gave all the options for financing, how to pay and so on. Originally used a larger local competitor to install a new AC and furnace this summer. On the first night we needed heat, the heater didn't work, and the company had gone out of business. I will definitely be making KC Home Services our go-to water heater and plumbing technicians. I was impressed with the scheduling (first a pleasant phone call to squeeze me into a full schedule and give me an appt. window and then a texting system that gave me a heads up when the technician was on his way).

I called KC Home Services at around 7 pm on Friday night because my kitchen sink was leaking. Virginia answered the phone and was very helpful and friendly. She apologized for not being able to send someone out because they were booked for the weekend but she vowed she would get me help. Virginia texted me two referrals. She was able to help me fox the problem by sending photos back and forth between myself and their master plumber who was on assignment 45 minutes away.
They coached me through turning the water off as a stop gap until someone could come the following morning

We brought K C Home services in to fix some problems we had due to a bad initial job from another company. It took them a while to work out the issues due to some deliberately hidden gaps in vents done by an unscrupulous installer who didn't want to deal with an awkward junction. They were super diligent checking every inch of the system until they found the problem and we now finally have a system that is working quite well.

I woke up early one Monday morning and it was cold in the house. i turned up heater and it would not light. Just as the first autumn cold snap hit, THAT’S when the heating failed to respond. When we set the thermostat to call for heat, we could hear the furnace start warming up. A couple of minutes later the blower came on … and then it all shut down. We tried several times, but no luck.
Unfortunately, we had very little experience with heating/air conditioning firms, but after talking with a knowledgeable friend, we got a strong recommendation — call Brooks Robertson at KC Home Services.
