Since our founding in 2000, Hawthorne Tile has grown, nurtured, and educated a talented team of dedicated professionals. Our team is formally trained and technically certified, while at the same time their individual talents and attributes are fostered as an avenue to the personal, custom touch that sets Hawthorne Tile apart.
Driver/Facilities Support works with Purchasing, Project Managers, Facilities Manager, and job site supervisors to deliver, organize and stage products to job sites, warehouse, and office. Apprentice is to work with senior mechanic to assist them in the installation of a variety of ceramic, glass, and stone tile; participate in 3-year formal Apprentice Program.
Delivery Driver/Facilities Support will deliver, organize and stage products to job sites, warehouse, and office. This position will also assist with job site clean-up as needed. The Driver role is often the most visible member of the Hawthorne Tile staff and must develop a strong rapport with vendors, homeowners, and contractors, in addition to the entire Hawthorne Tile team.

I love Hawthorne Tile! I really appreciate their craftsmanship and care for detail. So many companies are in a rush to bang our jobs that quality suffers. It seems exceedingly rare to find truly skilled people who care about their work and a job well done.
The person who does their bidding was friendly and easy to talk to. I can't remember his name but I appreciated his frankness and good advice. They made several suggestions that we are grateful to have followed for the tile layout and niche size/placement. I can't wait to have them do our next project!

We are remodeling our upstairs bathroom and taking on the majority of the work ourselves. However when I got to tiling, I found that I was quickly in over my head. I reached out to multiple tile installers, but Dirk over at Hawthorne Tile by far made the best impression. He was very personable and friendly and just an overall all pleasure to work with.The installer Serge was equally friendly and personable and his work is phenomenal. I am extremely happy with the end result and I couldn't recommend Hawthorne Tile enough. Bravo!

Hawthorne Tile replaced the flooring of our half-bath laundry room. The house was built in 1915 and we wanted the flooring to match the original 1-inch hex tile in our full bathroom. They paid attention to detail throughout the entire project. Given the pandemic, we had to change our plans due to unforeseen delays with other subs and Dirk was extremely accommodating. The crew was personable and professional. They kept on schedule and budget. I can’t recommend Hawthorne Tile enough!

Dirk Sullivan, the owner of Hawthorne Tile, has helped me numerous times with his technical expertise and shared some products I used in my business. Dirk is a member of the NTCA Technical Committee, a group of highly experienced and technically educated industry professionals who work on and publish NTCA Reference Manual which in my opinion is the best technical manual for the tile industry in the world.

This is long overdue but I have to express our gratitude for the phenomenal work that was done by Hawthorne Tile. We reached out to them a few months (in February) after our bathroom was worked on by the first contractor poorly. It was so stressful that we had to ask them to leave even though the work was not quite completed. We were nervous in reaching out to anyone after that but we knew we did not want our first remodel project to look so terrible. So we decided to take a chance and are so glad we did! With a list of a Dozen Tile installers, I chose Hawthorne Tile- Wow, I was totally impressed with Travis' historical knowledge. No need to look elsewhere! The work was excellent and definitely met expectations of 2 Artists here! Tile removal and restoration all performed by Doug.
1927 Fireplace Tile restoration. Discovered this tile is by Muresque Tile CA.

I used Hawthorne Tile to install new floors in two bathrooms. Their work is absolutely beautiful. Everyone I interacted with was very professional, and they did a great job of explaining the scope of the work, information they needed from other contractors, and provided recommendations for the required floor demolition. They also removed and replaced the silicone in my bathroom and kitchen countertops. They did excellent, precise work, finished on schedule, and left my house spotless. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a tile contractor, and would absolutely use them again.

We recently used Hawthorne Tile to install our kitchen backsplash. I had read about how tricky installing glass tile can be, so I made sure to select a company with experience with my materials. I cannot say enough about how happy I am with the job they did. Everyone I dealt with from beginning to end was professional and pleasant, and they really made an effort to convey my options and make sure that I got the end result I wanted. They took care in planning the tile layout in advance, and it really paid off. My backsplash turned out beautifully, and I highly recommend Hawthorne Tile.

The total experience was the best one could expect. I wanted the stone tile in my main shower replaced with porcelain. I reviewed several companies until a friend recommended Hawthorne Tile. The initial analysis occurred promptly and the agent who was eventually assigned to be the foreman of the job inquired about my preferences. He suggested two modifications which improved the final result. When the work began different agents worked on various aspects of the job according to their expertise. The office staff was most helpful in scheduling the work and dealing with the billing. I recommend Hawthorne
