Since then, the physical factory has been expanded six times and two remote warehouses are used for raw material storage.

Custom Finishers was established in 1976 to supply the furniture industry with thin woodgrain printed hardboard (Masonite) back panels accurately matched in color and grain pattern to the customers spray finished wood. These panels saved the furniture manufacturers cost on raw material and allowed them to more efficiently use their finishing capacity for their wood components.
Custom Finishers is privately owned. We take a great deal of pride in consistently producing quality work and supporting our community. We believe in working closely with our customers and suppliers to achieve optimal results. We can help design display products from scratch, or re-imagine an existing design to optimize it for more cost-effective production.
In addition to cutting our wood based components, we operate four lasers as a job shop. CFI can cut steel up to, a variety of plastics, specialty fabrics and customer supplied wood parts for chair backs, decorative overlays as well as, corner brackets. Without the limitations of tool kerfs or tool radius we can produce exact geometry.
Furniture components are our specialty. To save on the cost of materials, furniture manufacturers depend on CFI for wood grain printed case backs and shelves that match real wood finishes. However the real savings is in the productivity gain for the manufacturer. One of our best customers reported when using veneered plywood case backs and shelves for entertainment centers, they could finish 300 entertainment centers per day.
