I contracted with R Pools to acid wash my pool. We agreed on a price and the dates they would do the work. I rearranged my schedule to accommodate them. The day came and the service person called me and told me he was on his way. Not long thereafter, and before the service person arrived, another person (Danielle) from the company called me and told me they would not do the work unless I paid them one-half of the cost in advance! I watched the tech spend Less than 5 minutes servicing my pool. I called to see if he can come back out to rescrub the walls as there was spots he carelessly missed due to the fact he rushed through our first service. I do have on camera btw! The customer service rep made every excuse except for having the employee return to do a better job. When you have ledge loungers they need to be cleaned around, but he didn't even touch my hot tub or sun ledge. Overall the cheaper service isn't better. Absolutely awful. Will never recommend to another person.

During the freeze we had many of our tiles pop off and had some plaster issues. I received four quotes to get my plaster and tiles done. We chose R Pools because CW was the most upfront didn't seem like they would come up with extra charges as a few other companies had in their contracts. The quote he gave was what we paid. This company has shown me no integrity. Pretty bad my handicapped wife is doing a better job than these hacks. Promises made and not kept. The technicians only show up between 5-10 minutes they mark that they did everything on the tag which is a lie. Not to mention the technician stole my chemicals. Then they have the balls to try to invoice me. ZERO customer service skills. Stay away from this company!

We for some reason used RPools for months. We were new to pool ownership when we purchased our house. Our original pool cleaner from Discount Pools did a great job but he was very expensive. So, we found RPools and in the beginning they seemed to be doing a good job. We were told it was probably time for a filter cleaning right away and we needed a new valve. Neither of these were brought up on our home inspection or by the prior pool cleaner. Then we were told after the filter clean we also now needed a new DE filter. We still weren't sure we needed one because we weren't seeing any

I have found R Pools to have every trait that you want in service provider. They answer their phone. They respond quickly. They tell me what they're doing and when they're going to do it. And perhaps most important of all, my pool has never looked better. I'm told my service tech is "John". I've never met him. But I can tell you he works magic.

I have used R Pools for over 3 years now and have been extremely happy with their services. Three years ago, I left for a summer vacation and completely forgot about my pool maintenance and when I came home found my pool had turned dark forest green in the process. R Pools came out and helped me to drain, power wash and reset my pool chemicals in order, and I have used them ever since. They have replaced both my pump motors which aged out over the past couple of years and have been on top of any warranty repairs Needed. I have had a handful of pool services in the past but usually ended up disappointed and back to doing it myself due to rushed services of guys doing a quick skim, empty baskets and leave service - many in 15 min or less. We tried R Pools during the 2018 season and I was happy to see that every week the tech showed up about the same time on the same day and did a complete service - skim, vacuum, chemicals, empty baskets and cleaner. Each week the tech spent 45-60 minutes doing the job right. The pool looked its best in many years. We'll be hiring again this year.

Wished there was a way to leave zero stars, because that is what they deserve!
I have used them for over a year and had many issues/problems. The biggest issue is that the technicians:
1) are lazy (several times I would watch through the window and know they never checked the water chemistry, but would sit in his truck for 10 minutes to make it appear as-if he was 'working' longer)
2) only know how to clean the pool
3) are clueless about how to service the pool; especially salt water pools. If you have a salt water pool; do NOT consider using these people!!!

During the last 12 months they sent at least 15 different pool men to our home. We have a salt pool. We had to tell half of them it was salt. Our pool was always very cloudy. We continued to ask why it was so cloudy and dirty. We have one of the highest rated pool vacuums. We were given many different answers, but never a clear pool or a solution. After they left the pool drain on, flooding our front yard, we gave them another chance. While we were gone for 2 weeks, our pool water looked like milk. R Pools was servicing our pool when we bought our house in July, and we decided to keep them on. We have not had any complaints. They always do a magnificent job, and leave the flyer with what they did, and when the pool can be used again. Our pool motor broke the day before our housewarming party, which we had already been using R Pools for almost 2 months by this time. They had told us previously, that they could service our pool on Fridays, but it usually cost more and that was their busiest day. Ours is serviced on Wednesdays. Simply said, "DO NOT USE". I am echoing the prior reviews, this is not a company that you want to do business with. Horrific customer service and just some bold face lying appears to be rampant in this company. They were supposed to do a weekly cleaning and although presented with information that the cleaning never happened. They still charged for it. So, please save your money and do not use this company.

I wish I had read the reviews before I used this company. They are very unethical and Brandon, the owner, is absolutely a crook. I have a similar story as Charles except mine ends with no one at the company returning my calls. We went through months of dealing with them, they constantly said they would come on a certain day and never showed up. I spoke to Brandon several times and he constantly blew smoke, saying what he thought I wanted to hear. We paid for a leak detection test and they found one leak, two weeks later we had another one. One month later we have two major ones and no one returns

I received a flyer from this company in April advertising a special. I was going to be gone a lot this summer, and I had never used a service before, but I needed to make sure my pool was maintained. I called R Pools and requested weekly service beginning end of May. A person was scheduled to come out on Friday morning, May 31st. and I stayed at home to show him around and also to introduce my dogs who might ir might jot be there when he came next. When I had received no phone call, and nobody had showed up by 6:00pm
